SystemD

SystemD has three CVEs released, allowing root access and not even a shitpost about it.
Meanwhile you're all caught up in your consumer electronics threads.
We truly are in eternal summer, aren't we?

Wait for the anti systmd fags to wake up

Preach, bro.

Fuck SystemDachau!

>and not even a shitpost about it.
There was a three though, like 6 hours ago.

and yet Jow Forumshacks still shill to C and spread hate on Rust without understanding the dangers of memory unsafety inherent in C

show
neck yourself

Uh? Where have you been. We had several thread already.

The problem here is alloca, which has nothing to do with C. Rust is also prone to these kinds of vulnerabilities given the LLVM backend doesn't do stack probing. Educate yourself before regurgitating horseshit.

based C bro

>alloca
WTF who uses that shit, I've never seen it in any real world code

>SystemD
just dont use it rotten scam

cat /etc/portage/package.mask

sys-apps/systemd
sys-fs/udev
dev-libs/openssl
media-sound/pulseaudio

I switched to void, I have no idea what systemd is or does sorry

Link?

Noone wants to hear about systemd, the discussion always turns into a content free flamewar.

suck my fucking dick nigger I want to hear about systemd

We had a discussion about a particular one just yesterday. That being said, SystemD discussion usually brings out the worst in Jow Forums if we overlook the brand shilling/trolling. It is for this reason that most avoid it.

I've seen it today, read and reposted to our admins.

The D in SystemD stands for Dammmit.

But I was told systemD wasn't a botnet?

that's because all the oldfags are exploiting these vulnerabilities for NEET bucks while all the newfags phoneshitpost in between rounds of fortnite

>C:\Users\Administrator
That doesn't look like Windows

???

>local exploit
wow its fucking nothing

everybody and their grandmother has a trove of linux local exploits

Using a stack based array with a dynamic allocation value is technically using alloca, right?

>still using linux after systemd
i thought everybody switched to NetBSD?

I am not using it for a good reason. Nobody should use systemd.

I know, it's just rarely used, people don't even discuss the performance of allocation on stack vs heap these days, the heap is very fast enough for most use cases unless you're trying to look smartass or some massive numerical crunching software with massive iterations that needs squeezing every cpu cycle, systemd isn't a numerical software and doesn't need to save every cpu cycle, wtf were they thinking?
