Now that Bitcoin is dead, is RAM prices back to nominal again?
Now that Bitcoin is dead, is RAM prices back to nominal again?

also bitcoin didn't have anything to do with the ram prices
>Now that Bitcoin is dead
Ram prices won't stabilize, ever. Forget it.
And don't go below 3200mhz
No, as they know can get away with higher prices. Same with GPUs.
>bitcoin dead

wtf you need 16gb of ram for?
Thats your typical jewish style boom you shouldve expected this
Did you ever run some VMs on your PC?
so i can run photoshop, illustrator, indesign, chrome and google earth at the same time :)
google chrome
>paid $160 for 16gb partiot viper in 2018
I wish people would stop denying that it is bad to buy something for $1,000 that is later worth $200.
>but years later it was worth more
Is really a matter of luck. The $1,000 buyers weren't there because they knew it was going to $20k in 2017, they were dumb and bought at the wrong time. It is ok to be wrong. How heavy are your bags?
yeah, all the time. 8gb is more than enough for that.
>being a designer
never understood people who keep more than 5 tabs open.
problems?
yeah. front end faggots create nothing but bloat.
How many VMs do you run?
I mostly have 1 Windows VM and 3 Linux VMs (one is just CLI).
8 GB is too less.
one xp vm and a few headless *nix vms. no point in running multiple at the same time since if i need to do some number crunching i do it on a server or cloud.
>buy amd's moar coars meme
>buy 2990wx
>buy 32GB 3200 cas14 memory
>try to compile llvm
>almost done in only like 4 minutes
>time to link everything up
>system hangs because swapping
gdi
need even more ram
and need linux to be less shit about swapping
