Why did you install Linux if you care about hardware? You should be instead minding more about your window manager, distro, shell, etc. Not hardware, that's gaymer shit.
Also, use neofetch instead (it allows customisation and enabling of modules e.g. cpu temp, speed if you're still gonna go down that route...)

CPU's getting a bit slow. Takes nearly 20 minutes to transcode 6hr long audio files with ffmpeg and is this is with a slight overclock to 4.2GHz. I'll probably just deal. Don't wanna shell out for a new processor, board, and RAM. Fuck that.
