This is half-true from my experiences. I've had issues with all Ubuntu-offshoots, but regular Ubuntu has always worked perfectly for me.

fuck kubuntu, the is the worst linux distro I have used. Now installing elementary os with ubuntu's startup disk creator since kubuntu can have this installed by default. The default disk partition garbage this include is useless. KDE sucks ass at default settings. Also, no night light fuck this
