WHERE ARE THE GOD DAMN FEET?

Most of the audio professionals and enthusiast acknowledge that the HD600 are top-class headphones, but.. Who thinks the HD600 are bad headphones?

Some delusional, lonely and angry people who spend most of the day arguing without arguments in an anonymous website.

I'm making "it" tonight >_

please come back

Good.

The problem is not that they aren't good, but there is better stuff out there now.

>the open design gives these headphones a spacious soundstage
what the fuck

What's more comfortable, MDR7506 or M40x?

Hello I think you are all good people and I hope you enjoying your weekend as much as I am.
HE500+"mods" sounds lovely with Will Atkinson - Seventh Heaven BTW.

so it's bad now then.

relatively speaking

Pls no doxxing senapi

Don't worry I'm a nice person. Be nice to me too.

M40x

Do headphones perform differently at different volumes? I listen at 70db ish so I wonder if that means I hear something differently than someone who listens much louder at 80 or 90db?
I came to the conclusion last weekend that it makes the most sense to be nice to everyone here because while this thread can be infuriating it is still the only even slightly tolerable place to discuss headphones.

Okay

I really dont want to get trolled. You posted this ;_; Is this a ruse?

My favorite part of the Stax SR-L300 ride is the glorious 9,5k peak.

Not just headphones. Studios do the mixing while listening at 80dB/90dB for a reason.
It's not something you should do at home if you care about long term hearing health.

Attached: naamloos.png (293x300, 45K)

You're really dedicated to your shitposting, sapphire.

Why do you mongoloids not just use a decent or expensive usb audio interface? You realize that is as good as it gets right?
What do you think professionals use that create, mix and master your music?

Dude, 90% of the people here use bogstandard cheap gear. You're preaching the wrong choir if you want to spread the gospel of anti-audiofoolery. Headfi, r/headphones and SBAF are that way -->

I certainly do. I've been lucky so far in that I wasn't exposed to anything that would damage my hearing before I learned what was dangerous and what isn't. I'm curious if that means anything should be done in DSP to compensate for it?
I'm going off the db meter on my phone and not a real one though so it could be off. I don't think I'm listening too loud though.

Just use whatever gear or EQ settings that give you the most enjoyment of music at reasonable volumes, ie not 80dB+.

So we know the HD600 is great subjectively, but what about objectively? It scored a preference rating of 92 on the Harman target, the highest score on a stock headphone. This simply means that the HD600 is the best headphone in the world, objectively.

>objectively
>Harman target

It's the always buttblasted DT1990 fag, we need a name for him.

Did you also know that the HD600 is also the most neutral open back headphone with low distortion on the ISO Diffuse Field Curve? So even if you disagree with the Harman curve, the HD600 is still the best headphone in the world, objectively.

Tranny milk poster

I was eating and no. Don't worry user I have dark sense of humor and it's not personal.

Why dont you guys just imagine music in your head? Just imagine it with perfect fidelity every time, no point in spending money on gear.

tascam th-02

No need to because I use the HD600 which already has perfect fidelity.

Your loss. If you look down on them because they don't have a full sized headphone build you're judging by appearance only to drink forfeit because full sized headphones for $20 are not worth it.

Drugs, obviously.

I had the M40x. These sound good and fun, but not neutral. I liked them, but I returned them because of the low isolation.

Expect v-shaped fun and enjoyable sound, really great for the price.

open headphones do have a wider sound, what is your problem?

How do you even have electricity you monkey

they are outdated and not good imo, not gonna argue that.
audio technica has been my favorite choice since my last years of working

They in fact have even less than some closed headphones.
