Imagine this on a military drone

source plz, I need moar

>the tacky ricer shit people waste their money on

This.

Alexa, send drone to kill user and make it look like suicide.

no moving obstacles lol

This isn't AI drone nigger. It's just sped up footage of a drone piloted by a human.

controled by a person on a very close distance
plus lol you dont need an ai, just make an macro

Navyfag I deal with drones in my rate.
Without going into too much detail, there are drones that can do this and many commands do use off the shelf drones believe it or not. As far as military personal drones theirs still bullshit when it comes to letting the machine do its thing without human intervention and military tradition getting in the way when it comes to approving these things.
Personally I think its great and all but just getting through the process of testing this shit on the field and even before then figuring out what it could be used for makes it a hazy dream. Plus I can almost guarantee a "Military" version of said drone would be inflated price wise by EB, or Raytheon 10x fold.

If there's any miltech to look out for its the maturation of Augmented reality
Unrelated to my job I'm trying to personally work on a augmented reality overlay for FWS-I (family of weapon sights) which as best as I can describe is like a simpler Halo video games smart scope shit for weapons where its all integrated like for night vision, scopes and HUDs etc etc. I'm working on an overlay that (hopefully effectively) can identify armed personnel and highlight individual weapons on a person and even label them on the HUD (i.e a m9 pistol would be labeled on the HUG and highlighted red so you know said person is armed.
Its not easy because its complicated to have software identify image patterns and recognize it as an object in space (i.e like a captcha) and then *remember* what the object is if you look it at a different angle.

sauce or kill

This is your S shop sailor, I'm gonna need you to come in and redo your OPSEC training. I believe your cert is out of date

>Opsec

Just trying to have a little chuckle

Back in the day when I worked on this, I read that the Japanese main battle tanks were equipped with an image recognition system that could identify targets in the sight and then do the aiming.

This is also decades old tech in naval missiles. They identify targets and then look up in their library of targets where to strike to maximise effect.

Sure it is difficult but it has been done.

So obviously speed up

what is your rate? ET? ctnfag checking in

No need to imagine.

What you need to see is a camera that can highlight bodies and weapons and count friends abd foes then release a flash bang as it flies by and you have squads breach the facility.

it's not sped uo

This.
And if you have a good quadcopter pilot you don't even have to speed it up.

Just remember that a journalist's camera lens isn't an RPG.

>implying that it's always as easy to distinguish

Actually an LS, that's x-rating to EOD.

it's not sped up. it's done by a fpv quad racer. not exactly your mum's phantom.

moar goddamn

Both work against the US government

>implying modern spies wouldn't use a modified camera to assassinate someone

Good, we (are supposed to) work on a series of checks and balances. It's a democracy and not a oligarchy (in theory.) To put forward that journalists shouldn't do their constitutionally protected job and that power should remain with the few is anti-American.

Already did. It was either a CIA or a KGB thing - camera gun, back in the 60s

We aren't a democracy, and we were never supposed to be. It's a representative republic (not even democratic republic), my man.

This is a professional drone racer you fucking moron

hal-flife plagiarism

>Falling for this meme

It's honestly a cool hobby. I don't understand the contempt.

>Plus I can almost guarantee a "Military" version of said drone would be inflated price wise by EB, or Raytheon 10x fold.

>10x fold
lol
it's gonna cost 10x the civ price for every spring alone in the thing

The drone isn't going to be fucking shooting people. The high manueverability will be combined with a grenade. Fly the drone through some shithole and when Achmed pops out to knock it down or is visible in the camera feed you just detonate the grenade. The economics versus dropping a half million dollar JDAM flown by a multi-million dollar place vs a 300 dollar drone will ensure this reality. Not only is it more economical for clearing houses, it won't piss off the local so much as we're not leveling half a block with the resulting concussive force from the JDAM. Also it extends the visual range of a convoy further out and on the verticle axis.

This kills the military drone

source? this is literally me when I realized I'm dreaming and decided to fly around. anyone else?

Looks like some generic drone racer footage.

Opsec =/= classified you retard

If the blades will be sharp enough it could survive this.

>the state of AI
>posts human piloted drone
the coming AI winter
because all you guys lied about what your linear algebra was actually capable of

More like imagine how much more advanced military drones are. Pretty much everything starts out as either a military tech or porn tech and then eventually makes it to the consumer market in a less advanced form. War and sex will always drive technological advancements.

There wouldn't be a building left to fly through if it was a military drone.

Where's OP video from?

The way the quad is whipped I almost want to say its Mr. Steele from youtube.

Honestly kind of surprised that suicide drones aren't a big thing already. Seems like the perfect weapon for an insurgency.

youtube.com/watch?v=TlO2gcs1YvM

Damn, the new Forsaken is lookin' tight.

SOURCE OF VIDEO?

That's a human controlling that, no AI. For people interested just Google drone racing or something.
Can't quite remember what it's called

Welp, I'm never going to feel safe again.

I think the idea of freedom of the press is antiquated.
Freedom of the press as a virtue originated a time when the largest circulators of news distributed to a few cities at the most, before international corporations existed, before the incestuous relationship between the financial sector and media began, and before social engineering was a thing.
Nowadays 'freedom of the press' is just carte blanche to spread propaganda and brainwashing to your own ends.

This is basically a crude rudimentary start of but without the precision or shaped charge to blow up people's brain yet.

fuck man. I was doing this shit on spectator cam on CSS. *crack**sip* those were the days.

this is a happy webm

Imagine you're not retarded.

Exploring an abandoned warehouse looks fun as hell

Are you excited for kamikaze drone strikes by radical muslims? Future war will be intense

looool

Good doggo

It's like I'm playing Descent

Already has. youtube.com/watch?v=kpxIKCOJwWo ISIS pioneered using commercial drones for combat use by dropping mortar shells in the same manner depicted in this video: youtu.be/hDqlT68lhf4 Keep in mind these are merely the first generation of commercial drones. The future is going to be fucking vicious and expendable.

Stay running, pupper

>I don't understand the contempt.
they are loud as fuck so droneniggers ruin walks in the park/hiking with a qt.

Literally the first thing I thought of

imagine being this much of a dumb idealist
this but unironically

don't worry, my tinfoil hat will save me from facial recognition

youtube.com/watch?v=Hu3p5ZR_i5s
Almost there friends.

i could do this kind of thing in a gunship in battlefield 2142 back in the day

It does have a map, right?

Can't they put the blades within some grid or something?

This is why people need to think twice about filling out captchas

>constraining speech
If an argument is flawed it should be able to be dismantled easily in the era of crowd-sourced critique. Feels-bait is not exempt just because it's effective.

indeed

good thing the people who control the news also control what people who aren't tech savvy see on the internet just by controlling what shows up in their twitter feeds, facebook, and youtube.

>Japanese main battle tanks were equipped with an image recognition system that could identify targets in the sight and then do the aiming.

Every semi-modern tank (post 1990) can do this.

Why use a shaped charge?

A small fragmentation grenade detonating within a meter would do just as well, and removes the need to be at a specific distance against a maneuvering target. Just get close enough, BANG.

>this high school tier logic
A "representative republic" isn't a thing. It's called a democratic republic, or a representative democracy. It's literally a democracy. You're a fucking idiot. Go back to school.

inb4 I TORLL no, you're just fucking stupid, plain and simple

Seems like pic related isn't as far off as we think.

aren't those banned nowadays

you wish, stop LARPING and go back to your basement

Imagine a 3 foot thick barrier made of strings

This is how we protect ourselves in the robot apocalypse

Propaganda channel consisting 100% of fake news

...

Nothing you need to worry about then.

Isnt there a video where thousand of drones dropped from a plane that carry enough explosive to penetrate a skull

Please more footage that was fucking amazing.
