The Ultimate web browser chart

The only desktop browsers that matter to the end user, currently:
>Ungoogled-Chromium
>GNU IceCat
Subsequently, mobile browsers:
>Bromite
>IceCat Mobile
Every argument against these range from menial, potentially false nitpicks like slower updates, harder install, etc. to full blown coping in the form of blind skepticism of maintainers, blind in the sense that said blind critics haven't even tested the browser they critique for malicious conduct.

>Sphere Browser
>Proprietary security theater ware that "contains analytics" being recommended
That alone makes it a terrible chart

>caring about anything else that isn't top tier
>Botbetdi

mong, pls. it clearly says "recommended" so according to this chart it's better to use proprietary shitware than, say, sjwzilla

>caring about anything that isn't top tier
>lacking basic reading skills

>recommending proprietary shitware is ok

>not using either chromium or icecat

>idiot wojakposter pretends to know which browser i use

Stock FF (debotnetted through about:config) with resist fingerprint and no-add ons is the only good browser. It makes you invisible to datamining.

HEY, YOU COPIED MY POST, STINKY!!!
don't make me NOT copy-left >>>:::(
(in seriousness, arigato, it means a lot senpai uwu)
That works. But, why meddle with that when GNU IceCat already does the heavy lifting for you? Unless you're against IceCat's add-ons since you can't remove them, that's fair. But strange, since they don't infringe privacy like other Firefox add-ons; and I'm assuming that's the reason you're avoiding such Firefox add-ons, no?

>ungoogled chromium
It's like decaf coffee. I know you told me it's decaf, but I also know there's a little caffeine still in there.
Worst browser I ever used. Would rather use edge

I've used palemoon for years at least over 5. How is it bad now, ,?

IceCat and addons make any efforts to avoid fingerprinting worthless.

They're just hated, because they refuse to be MORE like Firecucks, the head dev actively blocks some add-ons from working out of the box, and one of the programmers is a prick.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with Pale Moon. NOTHING.

Why does Icecat randomly refuse extensions? I'd rather use the more memory efficient Smart HTTPS over EFF's bloated monstrosity.

What do you mean by that?
>inb4 ">advocating for IceCat but using Jewgle Chrome"
It's Bromite, don't worry.
Werks on my machine. Wish I could help

Attached: 20190121_232851.jpg (1306x2558, 1.6M)

Pages detect you're on ESR and use add-ons, which the majority of people do not. Which makes you stick out. Resist fp default FF is impossible to fingerprint.

Chameleon spoofs that.

Fair I guess. But boy, not just sucking it up and using chameleon like said would be a struggle, man. Addon modularity is one of the key benefits of Firefox and browsers based on it. It'd be tough for me to sacrifice that just for blockage of fingerprinting; one thing that doesn't envelope the whole scope of privacy infringement that an about:config alone can't protect against desu

MY BROWSER'S NOT A FUCKING BOTNET JUST GIVE IT A GODDAMN CHANGE

Attached: angry.jpg (1030x1030, 571K)

Literal autism
IceCat is shit and breaks shit literally just configure Firefox you fucking retard
UGC can't even install extensions normally
Also, making fucking connections isn't inherently spyware you brainlet. You use spyware like SJWs use racist
You put Iridium in mildly spyware because it makes a connection to Safe Browsing by default
You know Safe Browsing just downloads a list right? It doesn't send data retard
In conclusion neck yourself

isn t it specified in the gento wikia that chromium isn t safe?

Ungoogled Chromium doesn't have an installer in Windows. Therefore, it cannot be set as the default browser For Windows, the correct choice is Iridium, which essentially the exact same idea. Simply disable safe browsing upon installation.

Then why not IceCat you retard

Mozilla says my privacy is #1 to them tho

>that your browser choice actually matters

nice trips but your chart is missing comodo icedragon, the one true king

It's always really funny when some random dickhead makes a chart of his own shit opinions on browsers and spreads it like gospel

They used to say that.
But now its divercity

firefox on mobile and desktop it syncs addons and favorites

Im wondering is netsurf even good? I used it for a while the only problem its outdated html css not good for any sites to browser. I used icecat I was happy using it.

>no edge
Shit list.

Should I use Falkon just because I like it's name and logo?

looks about right but brave should be low tier

I'm using Fennec F-droid. How is it any different than IceCat on mobile?

Attached: rena4.png (468x757, 214K)

Based chart.
Based trips.
Based thread.
Today, OP was not a faggot.

Fennec is current Firefox without proprietary bits and telemetry disabled. However, it still needs about:config tweaking to stop it from making random connections to mozilla/google.

Add Otter Browser please

Is telemetry really disabled? I'm not sure anymore.

>ungoogled chromium
>icecat
>god tier
YOOOOOOO LISTEN HERES A STORY ABOUT A LITTLE GUY THAT LIVES IN A BLUEEEE WOOORLD

w3m God tier.

>t. Google employee

*ahem*
BLUE HIS BROWSER WITH A BLUE LITTLE ICON AND A BLUE DESKTOP AND EVERYTHING IS BLUE FOR HIM AND HIMSELF AND EVERYBODY AROUND

FUCK CHROME
FUCK FIREFOX
FUCK OPERA
FUCK VIVALDI
FUCK BRAVE
FUCK NIGGERS

Attached: YLmYy.gif (220x200, 223K)

Good post OP.
However, i am against add ons in a browser because they present a security risk.
I vote for otter and qutebrowser for top tier.

I don't get it shouldn't firefox be higher up. If you know what your doing you can really lock it down. Am I wrong for thinking this?

this, unironically

>mr robot fiasco
>that hidden extension that collects your data if you don't participate on the firefox data collection
>that ads on newtab page
>that telemetry that can't disable even if you change it on about:config
>shouldn't firefox be higher up
If anything firefox should be lower down than the list. Librefox is better and you should use that instead.

Why icecat mobile can't play simple embedded mp4 video?

Much appreciated

It's not a bad browser, just not as lightweight as it promises (or lightweight at all in some cases).

From the same site that made this ranking:
spyware.neocities.org/guides/firefox.html
They are looking at the browsers in their default state.

The guy who writes that page has severe autism, but at least he is right on icecat and ungoogled. Otter and faklon are perfect too, but again the autism.

Can you add nanoblocker in ungoogled chromium?

I dunno, I can't even install startpage and this fucked up version doesn't even let me add search engines.

>He has compared modifying software to chemically extracting caffeine.
Imagine being this retarded.

I'm part of the botnet
because I'm a lazy sack of shit

IceCat comes with this set by default. I bet you use fucking Windows and then act like you're not being data mined.

Screw this chart
What is objectively the best browser?

Attached: 9884580.jpg (640x498, 86K)

ok did it

IceCat

>no add ons
>doesn't use a javascript blocker
>thinks he's not being datamined

>check out Ungoogled Chromium
>last built Windows binaries are at least 3 versions old
Yeah no thank you, if you think I'm going to build my own binaries every time there is a release you're deeply mistaken.

Attached: 1454935667319.jpg (421x421, 62K)

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as OceCat,
is in fact, GNU/IceCat, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus IceCat

Is there any browser that lets you put a browser link un your desktop except edge?

What is the best way to lock down FireFox?

Since IceCat is a package for the GNU system, GNU IceCat without slash is the correct form. GNU/IceCat would mean the GNU system with IceCat installed.

Redpill me on privacy badger vs privacy possum.

thanks op

Be a brainlet somewhere else. You don't need an installation of any software to set a binary as the default handler for an extension in Windows (this includes URIs)

By not using it.

I use safari

Any browsers other than Opera that have inbuilt gestures?

god its depressing how true this is

add this to user.js
spyware.neocities.org/guides/firefox.html

Why it's not possible to use custom startpages on ghacks even if it's my own?

At least 4chins makes it clear how people actually feel when there isn't a thought police squad making sure we don't have a differing opinion.

hasnt otter gotten big release? anything like ublock origin work on it?

instead we have a clown car buzzing around that distracts with a bunch of e-celeb retards and chinks trying to understand why people dislike X brand spamming the board with useless threads 24/7

chromium.woolyss.com/

I've tested IceCat and the only downside with my utilization is that I can't activate the options "Always open in" for the Multi Containers addon and I can't find a way to put the websites domain in tab title in order for Kee to work seamlessly.
If anyone can help to solve this shit that IceCat will be my browser of choice.

No binaries for Windows in new versions
T-thanks, Senpai

>windows
tell me why you would bother about browser security when your opating system is malware already

They'll destroy everything you value anyway.

Some botnet questions:
How the fuck do you stop fingerprinting?
Even if I spoof my useragent, doesn't that just me more unique if it shows them contradictory information?
Is fingerprinting a big deal, why or why not?

Not if you use the noscript captcha like me.

wtf why didn't anyone mention how much faster Icecat is than everything else? I would have been using this shit long ago
