I won an E-Recycle auction for a pallet of 40 Thinkpad x230 laptops. They're in mint condition with everything. I can't believe how little I paid for them.
What's a good place to sell laptops like this? I know most people don't appreciate these older Thinkpads.
I'd sell them to anybody here for like $60 via zelle or venmo or whatever.

What country are you in? Switzerland here. Resellers are fucking pricks who think it's ok to charge 480.- for a T450s because OMG CORE I7 haX0rZ sp33d and 128 GB SSD but never mention the display type shich means it's 768p TN cancer.
+ I'd have to factor in the cost for a replacement keyboard because used ThinkPads always come with shitty ISO layout keyboards instead of proper ANSI ones.
Shit's cancerous, I'd love to get my hands on an x2 something but not for 600 shekels. Also, ordering replacement screens is a pain because all sellers don't ship to Switzerland and the few that do will ship a "compatible model" or one w/ dead pixels or pressure marks. I've received a shit panel 3 out of 3 times.

Most resellers are IT businesses that try to make fuckhuge margins, asking €45 for installing 4GB of RAM in an easily accessible slot or €65 for a 120GB SSD.
Buying private has more reasonable prices, but since those sites/communities are usually into tech those listings are sold within an hour or so.

I understand not everybody is made of money. I think this is the only place that has a real love for these laptops, so if $60 is too much, we could possibly work something out.
They aren't a 2019 laptop, no, but I've used Thinkpad laptops for years and years and I can promise they're worth it.

So it's similar to the situation here. Obviously, you would get the cheapest ThinkPad w/ an IPS screen you can find and upgrade the memory and SSD yourself. I have spare SSDs and even DDR3 memory lying round somewhere, so to me that's a no brainer.
