get a pitbull

Also pitbulls are tame and lovable the videos are just a smear against the breed

this
they are not called the nanny dog for no reason

They are on the large side and can be very high energy, but German Shorthair desu

>BASED
>REDPILLED

black lab
your wife will enjoy him too

boil the pits, canine war now

Beagle

Heeler

No such thing. Dogs are wolves.

when you suck so bad you cross post for attention

they are hyper loyal if you treat them nicely. preventing mauling of others' children is more tricky

I think you've made an excellent choice, sir. I remember when my daughter was young. Her face was chewed off by our own lovable pitbull.

German Shepherd or Labrador
Both very friendly and easy to train
Downside is that their shit can be the size of pupper in pic

If you don't mind fur check out Keeshond. They are good with people in general. Friendly dogs, will bark to alert, but I've never heard of one biting anyone. They'll live for 14-16 years.

Midsized? I'd probably say a bulldog if you can deal with their hair, I'm not sure about the most kid friendly dogs though.

Saarloos wolfdog is an amazing companion pet. 30% wolf (autosomal). They are great with children, they consider them part of the pack and they are incredibly intelligent animals.

The fuck Canada? That's not a blowjob

so edgy

BOXER

Retrievers (Golden, Flat coat, etc), Collies/Aussies, Newfoundlands.

Basically any type of breed that is made to work closely with people.

>asking advice on the safety of your children on the 4chans
get a pitbull.

DOGE and only DOGE

Doodle dogs. It's the only way to go if you want smart, friendly and easily trainable. And they're doodling all the dogs now, so there's tons of different sizes and personalities to choose from.

Corgi.
Can't go wrong with a corgi, The dog of the Queen.

> Child friendly mid-sized dog
The problem with pitbulls is that they're a walking set of high-power jaws. They can bite through a car tire. So, even though they're just as lovable as any other breed of dog, just one incident can spell game over for your kid.

We have a 150lb Great Pyrr who has always loved and protected our two boys. Her disposition is so good that we used to take her to my son's baseball games and she would sleep behind home plate with toddlers sleeping on top of her. BUT ... one day my oldest son got her leash wrapped up on his legs and fell on her. She panicked and bit his face. He has a little scar on his nose, and a good story, from it, but I'd hate to see what his face would look like if she was a pitbull.

Beagle.

Dalmatian but make sure you have a big backyard. Dalmatians are friendly as hell and they also get a lot of attention when you walk them lol.

WTF ... I hope someone stepped in and shot these two punks in the face.

kys script shill, cross posting has always been a staple of Jow Forums

wew.

Boxers are the best dogs anyone can get. Germans made good dogs.

Beagles...they're fucking awesome and despite their reputation can be very quiet animals...super loving and smart.

Same as Australian Cattle Dog? I can't imagine anything Aussie in my house but it's cute.

Gingers have no soul

Don't like the drooling tho and they live rather short lives.

GREYHOUND

It's Turkey, they hate dogs

Australian Sheperd, assuming you have the time and energy to play with him and train him well.Goldens are also the Whites of the dog world.

Australian Shepard.
Happy dogs.

Flemish rabbit

Attached: 220px-Runt_and_Paxie.jpg (220x165, 12K)

Bearded dragons

It looks like a manly Pomeranian.

Terriers can be pretty tame but very energetic plus the size won't be an issue either.

Their fur tho, if you dont brush them once a week they get all fucked. Our old keeshond was aggressive to outsiders, good dog tho.

Beagle

This is the correct answer.

Anyone who has dogs around children and hasn't had them mauled has merely been lucky.

Great Dane. The dogs of kings.

Yes

Attached: 20181112_151652.jpg (1152x2048, 968K)

>Doodle dogs
That's a first for me

PS - We had 3 Great Danes running around our small house with a toddler, they never once knocked her over or made her cry. They're good dogs.

It’s a large breed but great Ames are the best dogs. They treat your children like their own.

Pitbulls.

I like pits but they aren't even the toughest guard dogs. they're just crazy killers that were literally bred for war.

if you want a tough-as-nails guard dog get a german shepherd. there's a reason police use them.

Attached: AmericanPitbullTerrierBrooklynBr.jpg (220x256, 14K)

Pit bull

Get a pug. They’re kid friendly.
But, I’m biased because pugs are great.

Shar-Peis are very child friendly dogs.
Dogs can sometimes get pissed off if a kid grabs and pulls at them but this isnt a problem with Sharpeis. All that extra skin and fur means the kid probably couldnt hurt it if it tried.
They are very clean and easy to housetrain and train in general.
because they have weird shaped muzzles they have a lot more trouble biting people than other dogs and i can only speak for the ones we've had but they're very chill and docile with people and other dogs. They can bark at strangers coming into the house but if its a problem it can be trained away( i prefer it)

Otherwise you cant go wrong with a labrador/spaniel/jack russell

Attached: download.jpg (201x251, 6K)

Beagle. Can’t go wrong. They can be stubborn though.

I grew up with full size Collies and they were amazing dogs so I’m guessing the little ones are too.

Kek

That's a big ass rabbit. Can it be house trained?

They live about 14 years which is average, and mine doesn't drool.

Attached: 20180601_152807.jpg (4032x3024, 1.7M)

Can confirm. Have 2 and they are perfect dogs. Make great companions and are very loving. Never worried about them around my kids.

>child-friendly, mid-size
These aren't necessarily related. I grew up with Brazilian mastiffs, good dogs.

Yea lots of people have them as in house pets

For me it’s gotta be malamutes

Lol. I grew up with dogs, only ever got bit once cause I leapt onto the dog while it was sleeping. I didn't even get hurt, was a warning bite. Our first dog was 4 when I was born and we've had 3 dogs after that with no problem around children at all. Maybe American dogs are just mutts like its people because of shit breeders.

Lab or golden retriever. Can't go wrong with classics.

>chinks being subhuman
>flag
Checks out

Basset hound. Good Classic dog, laid back great with kids and has the superior nose. Bloodhound or coonhound if you like hiking, beagle if you’re a runner. Any hound will do really. Except greyhounds.

>German
>Doesn't get Schæfer or Berger Blanc or Groendal

Danes not Ames lol

Really? The median lifespan is 10 on wiki. It's a good dog nevertheless.

>except greyhounds
Whats wrong with greyhounds?

Border Collies are one of the least likely breeds to bite humans. Very sweet and playful dogs too, great with kids.

When i was a kid we had a great dane and I'd abuse the shit out of him, but when he licked my face i threw a fucking fit, was a toddler at the time.

Not midsize, but when I walk my Saint Bernard, little kids like to run up and hug him. I used to worry, and I still think their parents must be crazy to allow it, but he’s fine with it. Typical quote: “HE’S SO FURRY!”

most pitbull attacks happen when the dog owner is white

if you're not white and don't rely on collecting guns and committing mass shootings to assert yourself, get a pitbull

Attached: hp4tcshoyt611.gif (240x323, 1.92M)

Just get a nice mutt from the kennel. The dog will love you for taking it from there. Most important quality a dog can have is to follow his owner to the depths of hell and back.

best family dogs you'll ever own are golden retrievers. they are very happy dogs that seem more like people than animals. super smart and exceptional with kids.

How does a st bernard compare in terms of size with a great dane? I've never seen a bernard in person.

Was at the vet one day with my beagle, a great dane came out of the back from surgery(he was high as shit and had a cast on his leg) and my beagle through a shit fit going nuts like she met her best friend. lol

Boxer. Mine is the sweetest dog i have ever met. Super smart, well behaved, and she still looks like a bad ass despite being a big wuss. An intruder would think twice about breaking in after seeing her, but she is all bark and no bite. Great watch dog, but terrible guard dog. More of a visual deterrent than a physical one.

Why do they cut the ears like that? An already ugly dog now has two prolapsed assholes on their head

I've had 4, only one didn't live to 14 because he got cancer. Some do drool though, but aside from that they are ideal companions.

Shorter but heavier built. Mine’s about 160 pounds, but they can break 200 easily.

Get a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Protecting whites from niggers is literally what they were bred for.

Danes are a lot taller, but skinnier.

fuck what a dopey and friendly breed. I had a neighbor that had a big fucking female named tundra. I'd pull over on the way back from work when she was outside to give her a hug when she was outside because I am max autism and don't give half a fuck.

Good tempered breed. They really read people well.

Not him, but inbreeding. That and they are fucking maniacs.

Generic happy dogs edition:

>Labs, Golden Retrievers, Goldendoodles

Smarter than your kid edition:

>Doberman Pinscher, Standard Poodle

These five breeds are my personal favorites if I was in your position. Dobermans might be a bit intimidating but they're unironically what the pitfags think pitbulls are: non-aggressive, intensely loyal, hyper-intelligent.

Get a pitbull

Attached: 1525770368435.webm (222x400, 1.91M)

Golden retriever, basicaly a white race in dog world

Attached: complete.jpg (1208x843, 1.24M)

I have two but with the energy they have I wouldnt suggest it with young children. The breed is almost a second kid and if you arent on them every hour of the day they get destructive. Plus theyre pretty rough. Your kid might not get mauled but theyll be run over and have their heels nipped a bunch
