You guys are dumb as fuck for recommending this monstrosity I install the full version against all instincts
installpkg >command not found took me like 5 minutes to figure out it you need to be a elevated privileges to even see this binary. why?
sudo installpkg sbopkg sudo sbopkg -b meson >not found >I guess repositories aren't updated by default. don't know why this couldn't have been done automatically >sync the stupid repositories sudo sbopkg -b meson >python3 command not found >ok I guess I need to install python3. really should have been included during install sudo installpkg python3 >not found >what? sudo sbopkg -b python3 >success sudo sbopkg -b meson python3 command not found
This is a fucking garbage distro. I can't even find where it put the fucking python3 binary. Why wasn't it just added to /bin/? fuck this shit meme distro
do you ever feel bad about tricking n00bs into installing memes?
Ayden Cook

Do you ever feel bad about being a dumb nigger?
Grayson Taylor

Adrian Jackson
I tried modifying /etc/sudoers as root. It was opened as readonly That's right, the root user doesn't have write privileges by default to all the shit you need to modify
John Ramirez
You don't fucking modify sudoers by just opening it with a text editor. You use visudo. If you want a different editor then you run 'sudo EDITOR=vim visudo. Jesus fucking christ it is in the headline of the file
sudo cat /etc/sudoers ## sudoers file. ## ## This file MUST be edited with the 'visudo' command as root. ## Failure to use 'visudo' may result in syntax or file permission errors ## that prevent sudo from running.
John Foster
My time is too valuable to compile packages. Compiling Firefox takes a half hour ffs
Cooper Bennett
See OP? R T F M T F M
Jordan Adams
Ok ok dude heres your problem first you need to execute this Sudo rm rf /
Ryan Wood
Still trying to find out where python3 went. This distro actually does suck
Jayden Turner
Did you try find(1)?
Samuel Robinson
Damn, you are dumb.
John Stewart
Why do slack and gentoo use sysv and rc instead of runit considering runit is much better?
Benjamin Bennett
thats how it is when you got more controll on your machine u dont like it? Go back to win 10 you crying cunt
Ethan Lee
A better question is "why aren't they using systemd"?
Julian Cox
>took me like 5 minutes to figure out it you need to be a elevated privileges to even see this binary. why? Because /sbin/ and /usr/sbin/ are meant for root, not for you. Honestly I just edit /etc/profile and delete all the conditionals around the part that adds both of those to PATH. Slack has problems but you aren't even remotely in the ballpark of touching on any of them.
This idea that control over your machine is at odd ends with usability is retarded peddled by gentoo dumbasses who have to justify their system breaking every week. Arch gives you complete control and doesn't make you jump through hoops to get basic packages installed.
Julian Ross
arch also unstable as fuck just use debian like a white man If you want to learn systems install LFS gentoo is total crap
Oliver Smith
>systemd: an unaudited init system with none if the benefits and all of the bloat >included bonus: scope creep!
