The vast majority of people (especially if they are under 30, but even boomers are internet addicts nowadays) spend a very big chunk of time using their smartphones and/or any device that can connect to the internet. Check statistics on how much time spent on the internet has increased since the introduction of smartphones until now and you'll see that the people you are mentioning, who spend almost no time using online services and as such have nothing to hide,are becoming bigger freaks than someone who spends 8 hours a day on youtube/Jow Forums/social media/message apps/porn considering that normality is decided by majority.
Even someone who uses internet 2 only hours a day or less, which is very rare, will have a fuckton of data on the internet due to him using it everyday, or at the very least, with frequency. Personally I avoid botnets because I believe mass surveillance is wrong on principle. Many of my political opinions are not shared by people in power, so it is of no help to me to give more information to those who would oppose me, and in some cases could actively cause them to target me. And even if this never happened, in the end it actually saves time and mental energy anyway because Facebook, Google, Amazon, and friends are only interested in harvesting data for the purpose of distracting me with ads and tricking me into wasting money on things I don't need.
