Bizarre Particles Keep Flying out of Antarctica's Ice, and They Might Shatter Modern Physics
Cosmic rays emanating from the south polar ice cap could lead to new physics scientificamerican.com/article/bizarre-particles-keep-flying-out-of-antarcticas-ice-and-they-might-shatter-modern-physics/

Because the earth spins on an E-W axis, it draws in things that orbit it along that axis. It is extremely difficult to put a satellite in orbit on a N-S orbit and very, very expensive too. So getting pics there is rare to do

Its a lot like the oceans. Its hard to take pictures of a giant empty space. Where every picture looks the same. If you look at the oceans on google earth youll see a bunch of weird lines. Thats where the satellite was focusing. The path it was following The same shit happens on antarctica because its a sea of snow. Theres no landmarks or anything to help line the pictures up right so they just make it a big white surface like the oceans a big blue surface.

William Miller

Like this. See how the ocean is blurry but then theres that really detailed line going through it? Thats the path of the satellite.
