>tfw completed the circle and settled in Manjaro GNOME since 2016

Also, disregard OP's post. Hating systemd and suckless is meant to be a satire.

instead of reading those, new users should read the GNU Bash manual

Manjaro is unstable. I lost all my files after trying to change kernel a few months ago
I bought a new notebook for slackware but I don't want to spend 20 min compiling it

i went straight from a lifetime of hating windows to arch gnu/linux in the summer of 2017. ive reinstalled only 2 times. currently on my third install, ive never had any major issues and ive learned a lot. i might switch to parabola soon because tfw falling for the stallman meme. this would be my first distro hop (if converting an arch install to parabola counts as a hop). ive never been happier.

nice blog bloatnigger

Kernel updates have nothing to do with your documents. Never had this problem.

>my system wouldnt boot after installing a new kernel and forgetting to do grub-mkconfig so i assumed the whole computer was fucked and erased everything, including my home directory
jesus christ

Ended up on W10 Enterprise and just VMware'ing any OS needed, or WSL for daily stuff

Of course is an NPC with an AI trying to learn more about Jow Forums posts. No way those kind of replies are made from humans.

Lololol you're a fucking idiot.
You could have booted from literally anything else & copied your home directory

>tfw everytime I boot into Win10 I feel like theres a big camera monitoring everything I do
I've been using Linux for too long.

I remember running update grub

I don't know. I got a Mac a couple years ago and my work laptop uses Windows. I really want to go back to Linux.

>that pic
I wouldn't come back to ubuntu after all the shit it's putting through recently, like those amazon "apps" or background updates.
And if I were to use windows or osx (I'd choose osx because of the aesthetic but the hardware is inferior nowadays) It would be unironically as an emacs bootloader, but even then it would be a poor substitute because it fails for things like pdf tools

based and redpilled

Why does GNU have to be represented by a fat atrocidad?

Meh, I use just Win.
I'd rather be botnet than spend 10 hours figuring out why my printer does not work.

I tried to use Windows, but nothing would ever work properly or reliably and there was no good way to troubleshoot. So I just went back to GNU, where things aren't so obfuscated.

Who would willingly go back to W10?
