fuuuuck all my games from 2016 run at 5fps and i can't even run java games or my NES emulator which ran fine on my 386/16

I should have purchased an Intel(R) Core(tm) i9-9900K Processor!

I should've bought Intel unironically

4/10
mild chuckle was had

>"Oh no, I bough chink bottom of the barrel 2133 CL17 RAM kits and my performance is bad, AMD you have failed me."

>Magic AMD CPUs only work well with magic RAM
Really makes you think

Just wait for Ryzen 3000 bro .... and Navi .... soon ......

Even 3000 CL14 are only like $20 more than standard 2400 kits. That will still provide you with a huge jump over 2400 kits.

Is there any benefit beyond 3000MHz?

Oh no, I saved so much money, but now my gaymes run at 5% less FPS. Fucking scam, Intel wins again !

Not really. The gist of using good RAM with ryzen is due to the server nature of the chips they infinity fabric's speed/latency is directly influenced by system RAM speed and latency. You effectively get faster and tighter core-to-core communications if you use good RAM regardless of CPU frequency.

However performance boost when going from 3000 CL 14 kits to say 3400 CL15 kits is single digit gains and won't be noticeable so I don't recommend going higher.

Not much

Cheers senpai

Thinking of doing a NAS/homelab build soon

I don't care about gaming what's better for Adobe, movie editing and editing looseless audio terrabyte file for my hobby also machine learning

Intel

Either is fine actually, what would be more important is the GPU. If you're doing pro-level stuff than a pascal quadro card would be a minimum.

judging by over half the games /v/ and reddit plays, you need nothing better than a i7 2600k overclocked.

Don't fall for his 8400 meme.
8400 runs shit on a mobo from his price category.
Most reviews were done with $200+ mobos. A $100 intel mobo/chipset won't let you get ram on that 8400 over 2666, it won't let you overclock, it will limit the turbo boost and other nice things that intel does.
The 2600 runs the same on any motherboard from amd IF your retard supplier has built the vrms in a way that they can feed it with enough electrons.
Faggot op can't even bait properly.

>pretending as if ryzen can even oc any better

This has been debunked except obviously you cant oc ram on a b360 and z370s start at 100 dollars i own one

>pay more for less + a dead socket
Incels are schizos

Doesn't dwarf fort need a powerful cpu? Civ 6 runs like dogshit on ryzen So does total war

b-but muh unofficial BIOS hacked by a pajeet to support the 9900K

9900k is like a high end cpu 5years from now while ryzen 2 will be low end by2 years

this. btfo

Ryzen has xfr, which can handle better oc than every retard out there that can press del during post.
Intel otoh has turbo dumb with a shitload of constraints.
9900k won't be working next year, you'll have your vrms spitting fire and your cpu not able to handle 1.3v.
Global warming will have its toll on your rig too, you'll have to move north in the summer

hope you don't get any more security patches, kike

I'd rather support Israel than dog eating chinks

Yeah retards it's called a non-Z board, you can't OC those, it's a budget chip that supports up to 2666 RAM.
And wait I thought Intel didn't need magic RAM to beat the competition?
Fucking hypocritial pieces of chink shit, go shop for some b-die

>tfw cheaped out on RAM and got a single 8GB stick of 2133mhz CL15
fugg

>Ryzen has xfr, which can handle better oc than every retard out there that can press del during post.
definitely not true for first gen

These threads will increase every day until Zen 2 comes out, I assume.

That's understandable desu but even then due to even gen 1ryzen's high power efficiency you only needed a hyper 212 to maintain an average of 3.8 GHz on all cores. Considering its close competitor was the haswell 8-core blazing inferno at the time, that's pretty good.

Intel Shilling Defence Force in full effect
...or it could just be a bunch of 'Intel buyer's remorse' who fear Ryzen becoming more efficient while still being cheaper.

>even gen 1ryzen's high power efficiency you only needed a hyper 212 to maintain an average of 3.8 GHz on all cores.
Is this nigger serious? i5 8400 runs 3.8 all core with the stock cooler and doesn't require cherry picked ram.

With higher IPC

I5 8600k runs faster than a 2700x in adobe

Im so sad i cant upgrade every year

Feel bad for anyone who bought a 9900k desu.

an air cooler is more than enough for 3.8ghz at minimal negative offset voltage
60°C Prime95 with a simple Tower fan 50%
Its Sandy bridge toddler level, type in 3.8, offset -0.03 and be good
Mine seems to hit the wall at 3.85, where even 1.5 Volts isn't doing the trick
ryzen doesn't either require Cherry picked ram
It took 1 1/2 year but Asus finally made DOCP run
And i truly have the worst Hynix chips one can buy

As well serves as a very efficient cooker for their restaurant chains:

Attached: adobeinout.jpg (1000x666, 116K)

No one is forcing you to run it at 1.4v

Ryzen is crap wake the fuck up ryzen 2 will not be anything close to 9th gen intel

i5-8400 suffers from bad frame stuttering worse than gen 1 XFR due to 120+W power draw on the stock cooler and IHS not being soldered on.

Coffee lake actually has lower IPC than zen+ once you use even 3000 CL14 ram kits which are like $20 more.

how can inteljeets ever compete?

OH NO

LMFAO ryzen runs like shit on almost all test for the same price you get way better output with intel

>i5-8400 suffers from bad frame stuttering worse than gen 1 XFR due to 120+W power draw
Now why does this sound like some made up bullshit
My 9900K draws ~100w in CPU intensive games.
How come a 6c/6t cpu at 3.8 draws more power than a 8c/16t at 4.7?

Hello me.
Although I've got my ram at 2933 now for cl14.
Hoping there's a 65w 3800non-x 16core ~3ghz (4.3ghz sct) cpu coming this year.

Ryzen labtops are way hotter than Intel and have much lower battery ryz n is a meme

It doesnt. it pulls 65w in cinebench and doesnt go over 60c ever with a cheapo cooler. Just let him cope

>no mention of good ram being used in the test
thanks for proving our point, amd btfo amirite?

>buying AMD
>ever

Attached: blob-WZG2AXQTV0VS9A7P4EQIPXKG8V79H5UC.png (500x472, 123K)

Paying for ryzen twice instead of just buying an Intel cpu once you are the one coping

>muh ram it doesnt count
Like clockwork

The i9-9900K is supposed to pull 300W under load. If its only pulling 100W then it's essentially guaranteed you're gonna see heavy frame stuttering.

Yeah I'm hoping for good low tdp chips as well

Ryzen runs WoW like shit pretty much any game that need single core performance will run like shit on ryzen

>How come a 6c/6t cpu at 3.8 draws more power than a 8c/16t at 4.7?
Leaky 14nm+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ process with sky-high clocks

Imagine being this retarded

seething poojeet

Upgrading Zen cpu every year instead of just buying Intel once.....why...

enjoy needing a 1770W chiller to cool your CPU, kikelord

blatant shill samefag

Id like to see your xfr oust my 9900k. im at 1.25V 5Ghz and at 75C non delid at 125W. Yeah some real housefire alright.

Enjoy 1.45v to hit 4.2ghz chinkfag

You Intelfags are absolutely mental.

the cope is real

I will, because I can still use an air cooler for that

Attached: 1546461508202.png (1327x1222, 69K)

And at the end of the day you're waiting for brand new 7nm perf to be as good as 14nm performance from 2015 and its not even out yet...

>1.33
Lol these pajeet mobos when most 9900k owners are doing 5ghz at 1.28V baseline

source: my ass

>5ghz
This is something Poozens can only dream of
Have with with your 4.3ghz wall

I hit 5ghz on 1.265v

How many Zen's are you gonna need to buy to get close to 9900k

>samefagging
>larping this hard
the absolute state of incels

This board is full of AMD shills. Ryzen is garbage.

Attached: poozen.png (1795x797, 243K)

Source: the fact every Z390s OC mode for 5ghz is 1.28V such as my MSI board. and since mobo oc voltages tend to over compensate you can get it much lower. Cope more poojeet

Attached: Screenshot_20190205-162245_Chrome.jpg (1440x1718, 336K)

Im hitting 5ghz at 1.255

>still no proof
>still samefagging

Good for you

Based

Cringe

Theres more proof infront of your face but you're so full of cope that any zen rumour is taken as the word of god

>he still believes that more ghs is more betters

Intel literally had to release mini-nuclear reactors JUST to compete with zen 1 chips. The i7-7700K and i9-9900K are both fucking garbage processors that intel had to release because they were rapidly losing their grip.

Intel can no longer compete with AMD at a lower clock frequency like during the vishera/kaveri dark ages. Their magical 10nm pixie fairy dust better bring 5.5 Ghz clock speeds at minimum along with a stock refrigent water chiller if they want to keep up.

Attached: 3c5LXvr.jpg (600x448, 28K)

Depends on what you doing, if only and only playing then the 8400 is the better cpu if you encode and decode or make videos than the 2600 declasses the i5 in that workfield although it's a fair bit slower in games

>still no proof
>still samefagging
>still mad

It is when comparing CPUs with similar IPC

Then explain

Then why are there no zen laptops if low freq intel loses at.

>being this retarded

Attached: Screenshot_20190206-003128_Chrome.jpg (1080x2220, 712K)

you cope as hard as you type. 5ghz 9900K on google reveals a swath of posts confirming this for most people lmao.

Attached: I9_9900K_Prime_95_Temps_.jpg (1024x824, 244K)

I'm a amd fanboy myself

in my _(((opinion)))_ i do not like nor will i ever purchase an intel cpu, even though i acknowledge their objective performance superiority in certain workloads.
Additionally i think amd has superior nice things like
Having a dedicated x16 for a gpu and x4 for m.2 as well as x4 for the chipset, opposed to intel's lack of dedicated m.2 lanes
ecc support in chips outside of server
Better software (iirc intel doesnt let you do nvme raid easily on hedt while amd has good free support)

Call me a cuck or shill or whatever if you like
