Shade-Tree Retro Computer Mechanics

Just got a SCSI CD-ROM drive working on my old Power Macintosh.

What have you returned to live recently Anons?

Also discuss old hardware.

How old is old?

Let's shoot for pre-2000.

I found a PowerBook 150 in my parent's attic (while looking for a Panasonic JR-200U which I couldn't find) but it won't power on. Not sure if I want to learn to fix it yet.

Apple made some awesome keyboards back then. Too bad their mice always suck.

Why not? It's not like that experience couldn't be used generally elsewhere.

At least laptops don't take up as much space in storage.

I've got a ][gs in the queue that may have some power supply issues. On top of a pc bridge system I'm trying to build.

I guess I'll try but I want to find that JR-200 first, repair it if needed and try to write a demo for it.

Got a Macintosh IIe, 1986, running recently. Printer, games, joysticks the whole package.

Nothing wrong with priorities, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Kensington mice were always better
