Huh? Where did you hear that?

some people in my WoW guild told me it looked bad and not to update idk

In terms of UI design updates, there's not going to be much of it.

So I don't know what they're smoking.

not OP but maybe they mean the new light mode? it's not really "new" though

Yikes

it looks like they're trying to metareference the windows 95 installation background so that frustrated boomers don't use another OS
>yep, that reminds me of '95... now THAT was an operating system

>implying you can disable anything
it will turn on by itself even if you kill or disable services.

You mean this one? Don't talk shit it looks great

People who aren't retarded use Windows LTSC so it isn't an issue to begin with

You know what's great about updating windows? You don't have to worry about it breaking like linux

>not the superior LTSB

i'm retarded can you tell me what the difference is

yes it is possible. i use the pro version. installed it 4 months ago and turned everything off and didn't get bothered with any updates since.

I've upgraded from Debian 4 to 8 without issues. Just one upgrade straight from 7 to 10 was a pain in the ass and caused all sorts of trouble.

LTSB here, what's an update?

What update?

less bloat, LTSB uses around 800mb on the first boot while LTSC eats 1.3gb on the first boot
goysoft noticed that people started using LTSB so they added up botnet to it, of course the goy cannot enjoy things.

LTSB is rock solid stable

yikes

Thank you Anonymous, very cool!

How does one get LTSB without an enterprise account?

Is there a newer version available, or does it not matter? Will Windows Update pull everything I need?

Install Windows 7

>128GB
What do you use that for?

>Is there a newer version available,
Yes
>Will Windows Update pull everything I need?
No, thats the point of ltsb

Yes LTSC from 2018 but as other user say is more bloated and I use version from that link. You have security updates but no new functions till new version of LTSB/C which came every three years I think

You'd literally just be better off having a cheap machine running anything else and a high end computer for the rest.

>new windows 10 update looks like dogshit?
Continuity has always been Microsofts strength.

The '95 looks great, no doubt. I'm just saying that the new 10 screen is reminiscent of it.

chrome obviously

There's no easy way to switch between versions of Win 10, is there? Pro/Ult to LTSB, for example. I presume I'd have to wipe it clean.

Yeah nothing bad happens during windows updates, like your files getting deleted or anything

you're not fooling anyone, hans
