In the previous thread I asked whether I should get hd600 or hd650 and it the answers were completely different. So I decided to go with 650 cause I don't know anything about headphones, the price is the same and 650>600. Thanks for your help, anons.

Tried out a ton of really expensive and a couple budget things at a hifi store. A/B'd between them and KSC75.

I actually found a pair of Beats Studio Wireless on the street a while ago (I think someone put them on top of their car and forgot to take them off), and holy shit do these not deserve the price of what they go far. Everything is muddled by bass and it just doesn't sound very good. I might just sell them to some 15 year old and be done with it because I have plenty of other headphones that sound way better and are cheaper. They are legit ones too and not some chink knockoff before someone asks.

Even best Stax headphones sound objectively worse than mid-fi. This is why they don't demo them in store, they rely on the internet to create a sense of mystique around STAX and shill it as the endgame because its expensive, Asian, rare and obscure. In reality its no bass sounding garbage, with shrill highs that appeal only to near-deaf boomers. And what they say is true, they have no soundstage.
