What's good about Searx/Qwant?

Searx is open source and decentralized.
Qwant is EU based and not based in a 5-eye country. It's basically a better duck.

Reminder to all of you brainlets that searx is NOT a search engine.
It is a METASEARCH engine. This means that it does no searching of its own. When you are using "muh open sores" searx, you are actually just using duckduckgo, jewgle, yahoo, bing, or whatever other engines you set up in it.
also, instances are rather fucky in my experience. Often they'll take a while even if they're in my country, or just not work at all.
