>theres not enough mouse pad space to move from left to right

No website is enjoyable to view on these meme monitors, you pretty much have to decrease the window width.

But you can play gays on it...

Rotate the monitor 90°

Unironically bought my mother one of these to read work emails on, she loves it and it doesnt confuse her by having multiple separate screens (she is 60, and an exec with money to burn on shit like this). I put a thinkpad pro dock on her desk all she has to do is drop it on and she gets a nice big display

If only it was 1440p. I'm thinking of buying the HG70

are you retarded or just trolling

genuinely curious. if the former, think about what you just said. if the latter, 6/10

Doing God's work. Before my mom sold her laptop I replaced Windows with Ubuntu and she had far less problems. Now she just has an iPad for everything she used to do with the laptop.

>If only it was 1440
The only reason these things exist in the aspect ratio that they do is because they are 4K TV panels lasered in half. (Hence 3840x1080) it would be really expensive to do these monitors in a 1440p version with the same aspect ratio

That's sweet of you user.

Unironically a CRT or 4:3 LCD. It's counterintuitive but the modern web seems to be designed for 4:3 monitors more height than width.

And you know what's worse? When micro LED production lines finally get running they'll still be making these shitty aspect ratios because normalfags and their allergy to black bars.

Vertical tab users don't have this problem.

Redpill me on those standard width curved panels.
Like 27" 1440p, but curved, are they a meme?

Manlets, when will they learn?

>due to the IPShit panel the contrast ratio is low and this prevents the TV from displaying deep blacks in dark room
>picture quality which is only decent

>do is because they are 4K TV panels lasered in half
That's not how it works... They don't even use the same VA variant as TVs produced within like 4 years and nothing being lasered in half would produce 2 usable copies, one would be destroyed with less than 1080p. They're probably produced at production plants that used to make TVs but they're definitely not TVs lasered in half

You doubt the precision of industrial laser cutters. Those things can go straight through a 4K panel between the pixels and produce two perfect halves.

>muh blacks

what are you a democrat

Not even a videophile but when you're okay with #000000 looking like #303030 you're a masochist.

You're still using IPS instead of OLED, you don't give a shit about contrast. Fuck off retard.

>posts crt
>you're still using ips

If you resize the application windows, is this better than dual screens?
