cleaned it and installed new hardware today so it does not have much uptime yet
why is fedora suddenly catching on?
i thought Jow Forums hated it
I found it super easy to use and it just werks. I don't really give a fuck about what Jow Forums thinks.
>why is fedora suddenly catching on?
>i thought Jow Forums hated it
because I started shilling it with arguments and everyone became enlightened
>fresh install
>2.8k packages
meanwhile I sit here barely breaking 600 packages after a few months of daily use
how do I change the information that neofetch outputs, including the ascii art?
not even close to fresh
github.com
vim .config/neofetch/config.conf
There you can add a # before the lines so it will no longer output, ex. putting it before "info "CPU" cpu" will make it no longer appear. As for the ASCII art, look for the ascii_distro setting and change it the distro you want it to show.
Install all the packages. It's free software, bro.
Fedora FTW
...
you seem to be considering the common misconception here that package count can be used as a linearly scaling and universal measure for defining a bloated system, which it can of course not
Converted Chromebook doing very nicely.
my system is bloated tho. the package manager sucks so a old install will eventually have thousands packages that arent really doing anything. im sure that most of those are just some random old libraries that just got left there by something that is not even installed anymore. i could fix it but its too much work just to get some internet points

>gnome
eh, that's debatable
I fucking love GNOME, always have done.
Blob, nice to see you again.
great to see you too. honestly I miss using a DE but dwm is easily the best WM I ever used
Just getting used to arch with i3. Background messes up on my dual monitor setup so still have to fix that.
Fuck you for stealing my name
hi
why not use both?
Nice, post config
I just never liked having more than 1 desktop installed on my machine. I especially don't do it on gentoo because that just means more stuff to compile
Relatively fresh install - I spent a few days installing crap and trying to get the wifi drivers to work
hey luke
what do you want, colors?
Xfce is comfy.
sup
should I use custom term colors? I think the defaults seem fine.
If you like the colours, keep 'em
nois, i see you liked the chicago95 theme,
i do as well
Maybe I'll try dwm tomorrow.
why does that dumbfuck need an umbrella under an awning.
>just using framebuffer on try
what the fuck
faggot don't hide your settings, is that i3 right?
and how do you change the Firefox tab color?
that purple looks cool desu I might end up installing gentoo since you can get the ram usage so low
you can get ram usage low on any distro
Not him but yeah that's definitely i3.
You can change firefox tab colours just by changing the theme from "customize"
Here's just with some random theme that came up first.
based spyrobro
what's that file manager?

ivan please
How can I change OpenBSD's default wallpaper?
Anyway, here's my screenfetch.
i changed it to that because the yandex servers are close enough and stable. the other one is always down or outdated because its managed by some drunk universityfags
the same way you do on linux
