That'd be Vim, Sublime is good for Web Devs but Vim has more purposes all around.

only thing i like is the multiple cursors. if i could find out how to do that in vim then im set.

Notepad++

disgusting mate.

try this out nigger vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=953

Sublime Text 3 Dev Edition.

VSCode set to /comfy/ mode

Atom

it has been scientifically proven that people whom code using vim and emacs produce 30% worse code than those whom use a proper IDE.

You mean Vi, right? Vim is a meme

>Whom
I do not think that word means what you think it means

Fuck off.

spotted the salty vim user

Vscode

whomst'd've'y's

neovim

I use vscode with vim keybindings. literally the best of both worlds.

>using 300mb for editing a single file

using ram isn't like using paper

>editing a single file
Dumb nigger that's not how you use VSCode

I'm too stupid to figure out why the script to install Package Manager doesn't work, yet I'm too scared to ask on Jow Forums

>using RAM is bad
Every time.

>proprietary
yeah, no thanks

Sam is the text editor of real professionals.

I use emacs as my IDE, command line, window manager, and browswer

>Atom is made by GitHub
>GitHub is owned by Microsoft
>Microsoft makes VS Code
>VS Code is better than Atom
>hurr durr Atom is the best editor because phuck Micro$oft

>falling for the vi* meme

Make sure telemetry is disabled in vscode, it's enabled by default

>using anything other than nano
yikes

VS Code

geany for the clicklets, jed for those of us who've pulled up our big boy pants

I unironically believe emacs is better. If only it had parallel threads

I really want to use Sublime again, but plugin development seems to have stalled. Too many people wanting a free ride then running to VS Code when Sublime starts nagging for payment.

Someone please prove me wrong.

ed is the standard text editor

VS Code has very poor support for JVM languages. Those doing the needful with it are doing it in C#.
