Find it odd it didn't have a single 60% keyboard

For me it's the ThinkPad keyboard

HE QUIK BROWN FO JUPS OER HE LA DOG

HP Omen Sequencer?
Opto-Mechanical switches half the price of a Huntsman elite (Depending on your area). Tactile, clicky and speedy. It looks weird especially the oversize space bar but i actually like it.

>Romer-G switches in third place
>Razer not just once, but twice in the list
>Not a single Alps board
>No Model M

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG

I find razershit is low build quakity, and very surprisingly for me my daskeyboard four felt great but broke through regular use (though hasnt again since resoldering the contacts).
I do agree gamers would enjoy 84key and 60% form factors if there were more options. I play in a PUBG comp team (in challenger div) and 2 of my teammates bought one after seeing mine and love the mousepad space.

>60% keyboard

That's a fashion accessory for people with autism, nobody that does not suffer from severe brain development issues would want one.

>Razer
yes paying 150€ for renamed chink switches, great value

Thanks. This only strengthens my resolve to keep getting NEETbux. And buy a 60% board.

Why do americans always visit such cancer sites? I'm genuinely intriqued.

Because we don't get arrested for posting memes

I can't knock it because I'm using a tenkeyless to give myself some more mousing surface and I'm sure there's a use scenario out there for some, but I agree with your sentiment.

Terrible list but money talks I guess

Eeeyyy I have the k95 platinum. Got it like 4 days ago. Great keyboard overall. I love the feel of the cherry mx speed switches and it looks clean. Switched from a blackwidow chroma.

What switches should i get if i have been using a laptop keyboard for 2 years? (low profile)

Wasd code v3 with blues.

cherry blues

silent switches or get out

I have the K95, I wish I spent less on a keyboard honestly

Cherry Blue if you like the loud clicky sound with tactile feedback.

Browns if you want tactile feedback but without the loud clicky sound

Black or Red if you want no feedback at all and just a smooth travel to bottoming out

I prefer Browns. The super loud clicking sound from Blues are too fucking annoying for me.

Brown switches are elder god tier, blue is completely retarded if you are gaming and is too slow for anyone looking to type fast. Brown is where it's at for anyone who isn't a full blown retard faggot.

>Model M
These are gaming keyboards.
The one you want is the Model F.

>no Ducky
What the h*ck my dudes, my Ducky One is fucking great

All switches nowday suck bad, they are noisy and generally the build quality is shit

Idk, I used to have the devastator 2 membrane keyboard from cooler master and after a couple years upgraded to a g skill km 780 with browns/rgb. Honestly they felt the same. The plunger style on the membrane felt way too close to that of the brown switches.
My brother got a zalman z900 I think it's called with the blue switches and it feels way better to type on. It is loud af but it for sure feels better. I also used one of those cheap Amazon mechanical keyboards with the khail blue switches and it felt better too.
I honestly think you guys are meming when it comes to brown switches. Literally only got them cause you all say it's like the best of both worlds. The feel of blues but it's quiet. I'd rather have blues now.

I have a HyperX Alloy Elite behind me but never opened, is it any good? Using a Master Keys L right now.

Isn't Ducky One in the list?

Wow I'm illiterate. Thank you user.
Ducky One fullsize w/ browns reporting in. I love this thing.

I wouldn't say they are the best of both worlds, the experience of blue switches is completely different but it has drawbacks that are very apparent if you are someone who types fast or is interested in gaming. It's simply an unacceptable switch if you are looking to do anything but annoy people around you with retarded noises.

Mechanical keyboards are in general a complete meme when it comes to productivity, but I do like the brown switches and it's the only switch I personally would consider to be good as it provides a somewhat mechanical feel without all of the drawbacks of a mechanical switch. Still, no mechanical keyboard will ever be able to compete with a keyboard like K380.

How are the switches on this? Currently have MSI GK80 which has cherry reds which I like but the plastic on the keys feels really gross and slimy after not long using it, and I haven't even been cumming on it or anything

>should I get this keyboard with these switches?
Meanwhile in not-a-retard land I bought a hotswappable keyboard for a fraction of your meme RGB shit and a bag of Gaterons, and get to fuck around with whichever configuration I want. This month it's Reds.

Like your current keyboard it uses ABS keycaps so they will become glossy after a while. You need doubleshot PBT keycaps if you want them to look pristine for a long time..

Thanks.

My other issue making me change from the GK80 is that to enable N-key rollover you have to be in "gaming mode" which locks out the fucking windows key. There's no way to get N key rollover without doing that.

It's a shame beause the passthrough USB port and otherwise build quality was quite nice especially when I only paid £60.

I mean enjoy your shitty $5 walmart keyboard if you're a casual I guess but some of us actually use our PC a lot.

>not including the redragon
Bad post

You don't need function keys now that mmo are dead.

what's a good entry level board? Preferably around $100

Imagine paying more money for less of a keyboard
LOL

No, they definitely are not.
I've used mechanical keyboards at both home and work for 5 years, then recently I had to use a fresh out the plastic membrane board because my keyboard at work broke.
It typed so terribly. I could never tell if my key press registered through feel.

I tell if my key press registered by seeing if the computer does something.
Unless the keyboard is broken it does.

You're like those really shitty fps players that don't notice the difference between the AK or M4, other than one looks cooler than the other.

I want to try this meme keyboard just because I feel like it would be a breeze to keep clean

Those shitty sites are established institutions from days gone by and Google changed their algorithms to adjust their ranks to the top so they wouldn't die.

Our top results are always shit ass sites that haven't produced quality in 20 years. A lot of them are dinosaurs from the magazine days.

Just let them die Google!

Logitech is bad under Linux.
Razer huntsman elite is complete out of stock in my third world country.
Guess I'll stick with 25$ membrane one.

Attached: 1550768176804.jpg (450x572, 42K)

Filco majestouch is great. It is completely devoid of any stupid gaymer design or additions while still being well built.

I'm eyeing the K95, why is Alloy Elite better?

>Anne Pro 2
>everything NIZ Electro-Capacitive (Topre is overrated)
>Unicomp Model M Ultra Classic (they've recently improved their quality, still feels cheap though)
>every Alps board that is not Matias
>Lenovo KU-0225/ Lenovo Preferred Pro
Those are the best options if you want to buy a keyboard. There's also Das Keyboard but they recently got more gamerish and with stupid features such as cloud connection (???).

Attached: your_name_figure.jpg (300x300, 18K)

I ordered the anne pro 2, but it got send back... i can buy the ducky one 2 mini in europe though! in my own country. should i do that? is it good/better than anne pro?

Yes. Ducky is a pretty good keyboard.

Yeah just go ahead and ignore those two aren't the only two companies making mechanical keyboards and in fact are two of the worst companies for mechanical keyboards. Fucking retard weeaboo

What's a good 80% mechanical keyboard with a corresponding numpad by the same manufacturer so I can have the numpad on the left?

Anyone here /duckyshine5/

Don't forget to download Keyboard-Audio-Visualizer (with the dashes) from the Corsair forum. It's really neat.

Any roccat ryos mk owners?

Attached: 1550178399480.png (250x250, 51K)

gmmk base tkl, add your own switches, aliexpress keycaps

dont buy anything roccat dude awful software and support

Yes user, I have a roccat mk glow and I want to kill myself for being an impulsive faggot

Attached: brainlettttt.jpg (800x450, 44K)

get blues if u enjoy waiting for your key to come up. not ideal for games. you sound like u need to try higher quality brands like Leopold or Filco

Are browns or speed switches better?

Why is the huntsman elite lower than the blackwidow elite? There's not much difference in the overall design of these boards, other than the lighting and switches?

Haven't tried the brown, I switched from clicky green switches to these. The speed feel just very light and just good to press down on. Plus I do notice the difference in games and typing.

Attached: [email protected] (368x368, 133K)

Hmm gotta try both. Cherry is hated on Jow Forums as far as I know for whatever reason.

in their mom's basement.
get a real keyboard, aspie

Because Jow Forums hates the mainstream

the only ones that stand out to me are those laser ones that have analog sensitivity and very low input lag. i can't imagine how any standard mechanical keyboard with n-key rollover is better than the next. they're all fine.

dafuq man I have a K70 Lux RGB browns and it's good. Other than the left arrow's green LED burning out.

What keys arent so damn loud? I have my PC in the living room and its annoying for everyone else.

put some O-rings on and move your PC

>60% keyboard

Nah. You have a regular keyboard for typing, and a keypad for gaming. Optimum mousing space.

Attached: g30-wired-gaming-keypad-with-led-backlight.jpg (1000x1000, 94K)

I don't think it's really about the switches themselves - I tried a cherry mx switch tester, and they were all really quiet until I fitted them with keycaps and to the board. Suggests the problem is more board reverb..

Oof, had the same one, best keyboard and best press feel, period. All that mechanical nonesense is for manchildren who play games and literal autists

Attached: bowsette pornhub.jpg (213x296, 16K)

/v/ is such fucking cancer

for me it is the ps/2 connector

Attached: 334673.jpg (500x500, 50K)

best post in this thread

because they aren't cheap chinese knock offs

>had unpopular membrane keyboard for 6 years
>bought $50 k840 a few hours ago
>unpopular romer-g switches kick ass
>come to Jow Forums to dab on the keyboard general

Okay 60%nigs, how do you live with no F keys? I bought pic related but using modifiers sucks ass.
