Why are tech workers treated like cattle?

As compared to?

I dunno, literal cattle?

So what industry doesn't treat its workers like cattle?

Amazon is not a tech company.

More accurately — who cares? Communist workers are treated infinitely worse and, unlike their US counterparts, starve to death.

>stink
>poo outside of loo
>eat grasses and insects
>have to be fed and given antibiotic for unpaid labor

The average tech worker really is like cattle, but you could say that about any indian profession.

Because the proletariat are cattle whose only purpose is to feed the machine of industry.

get another job. if you're actually an engineer that shouldn't be a problem.

Tech workers aren't the proletariat, they are the bourgeoisie.

Communist workers are not starved to death. They're fed by starving non-workers to death.

Does they act like sheeps?

they arent. cattle cant leave. tech workers can leave.

ok tankie

H1B can't leave

Oh look, it's a westernet talking about Communism. Retard.

Because they're so utterly averse to physical labor.

Oh? And WHEN can you leave? When your employer decides right?
More like cattle being let out to pasture (going home for a few hours) before coming right back.

I'm sorry, but we are supposed to be trading _work_ for _money_.
When the fuck did trading work for money turn into trading a fixed amount of time under extremely rigid conditions for money?

there we go again
>why are these companies treating workers like shit
>HURRR BLURFFRF AT LEAST WE'RE NOT COMMIES
every fucking time, get some fucking help, you nutcase

>making leadership principle jokes because lol so Amazonian XD
>MUH OPPRESSION even though that faggot is making six figures or close to it even as an entry level engineer
What the fuck is this nigger complaining about? Is Amazon pointing a gun at his family's head? Is Amazon violating his rights to freedom of speech, assembly, or ownership of firearms? I genuinely don't understand the problem here.

The issue isn't tech workers. It's people with H1 visas who get deported if they go against their boss.

That picture is from some hysterical guy who has horrible english that got fucked by his manager while stuck on a visa.

Im about to start a remote only job that pays 150k and offers unlimited vacation. Doesn't feel like being cattle to me.

Capitalism

Nope, the bourgeoisie needed more tech workers than were available at one point, when tech was new, but that's no longer the case. It's only going to get more and more cattle-like over time

You forgot to mention that you'll also be judged by your activities in your off hours, you'll usually have to participate in social things on your own time (occasionally, usually), and your company may own the product of your labor in off-time.
>freedom

Sounds like you are among the small majority of tech workers who manage to snag a great gig. Do you have a lot of experience developing for an esoteric language/platform?

Because they accept it?
Go learn a trade if you don't like it.

because the usa is the biggest software hub and also has ingrained this deep hatred of unions and workers rights

Every worker is just cattle and theres fuckall we can do about it
