If you're plugging it into ethernet it'd be in a slightly permanent position so the likelyhood of it getting hit and damaged is low. Just don't fuck around with it unnecessarily

what laptop is this?

I have a fleet of 500+ and haven't had a single one break. Granted, only about 10% of them actually see use, but it is well built. If too much pressure is put on it, it just pops out and you can pop it back in

Warranty doesn't cover moving parts.

God I hate this anime bitch.

What 3rd world country u live in?

I guess they won't cover your DICK THEN

USA

The most reddit thing I've ever seen and not just because it literally links to reddit.

> automatically schedule service visit every 3 months
now that's innovation

>get cable to plug in
>curl in cable bends it towards you
>effort to make it bend away keeps putting stress on connector

Cable management, Boi. Invest in some tape, you should be doing that already in a permanent placement

>Using Ethernet on consumer grade hardware.
Wifi has caught up and is plenty fast for the vast majority of consumer networking needs. Notice I didn't say anything about you faggots who cry if anything on your network isn't gigabit. For regular normies, wifi is plenty.

In my area wifi is still inconsistent when it comes to a constant connection that doesn’t drop randomly. Fine for streaming porn or netflix but absolutely awful when playing vidya

Checks out.

WiFi is inconsistent at my University.
Ethernet has no such problems.

Call me when you can use RX and TX at the same time without 75% data loss.

And just because of that over-regular Jow Forumsentooman should settle for a normie tier devices?

Holy shit thats fuckin wicked

Just like Macbooks.

I don't trust public wifi networks. If I'm in a hotel room, a common place to use laptops, I'd much rather plug into wired ethernet and at least know for sure that it's really the hotel's network and not some jackass running a fake hotspot.

That thing looks flimsier than a piece of paper.

Then what is "candy bar"?

Nokia dumbphones.

What if some jackass manipulated the room's ethernet port?

based

Ok. But what candy comes in bars, except for chocolate?

Better to have an Ethernet port and break it, than to have never had one at all.

>t. has never owned a business laptop

You just have to put it in,not ram it in the port you mongoloid.

assbones

Now fuck off OUT of my thread.

cringe and bluepilled

apple doesn't do this as it has 0 trust that its userbase will not break it.
