Brave for Android

What makes it so fast, bros?

You guys weren't kidding, this is the best browser on Android right now. I dumped Lightning for this.

Go away, Satan.

I used it until i learned about browser fingerprinting
It has a unique user agent and it even tells websites what phone ur using. If u want anonymity use firefox and some plugins. If u ask nicely ill give u a list of extensions

Asking nicely. Not OP btw.

Chameleon (spoofs user agent, which is info on your browser)
Canvas Blocker (also spoofs fingerprint)
Cookie Auto delete
Https everywhere
Noscript (i disable javascript on default and white list pages i want to see)
Privacy badger (blocks trackers)
Privacy possum (gives trackers false data)
Ublock origin (more privacy than adblock plus)

I use both privacy badger and possum, but you can do with either one desu

Also get a VPN

>badger and possum
pointless. possum is built as an alternative.

Mozilla is shit, no script will render almost all webpages unusable and manually toggling each one is shitload of work smart goes for umatrix. if you need this much extension to maintain privacy you don't use mobile at all. It's also shit to navigate(swipe gestures in chromium browser: I use all the time). use bromite/brave. btw what's the point if you have Google play services and app installed. Gboard has usage report set by default, you have to opt out in every fucking app, options are buried deep.

you forgot decentraleyes

it's not fast enough to be worth trading the add-ons and flexibility you get with firefox

WOOHOO, BUILT IN AD BLOCKER THAT WHITELISTS ADS!

WOOO!!! I LOVE BEING FED ADS!!

But soon(tm) they will also inject ads and pay you with a worthless shitcoin(R) in return

Attached: ChromeBTFO2.png (1241x654, 72K)

I will gladly except shitcoin BAT in exchange for the rights to my memes.

Im gonna be the first one to monetize memes

Which of these are actually needed?

Surely you don't need all of these.

No, it doesn't. And it doesn't do that even on desktop, unless you go out of your way to enable it. But yeah, keep repeating this every chance you get.

>But soon(tm) they will also inject ads and pay you with a worthless shitcoin(R) in return
only if you opt in

so i can just use ubo for

nibbas dont realize memes have monetary value

>it doesn't do that
>unless when it does
why are bravefags too stupid to just install ungoogled chromium with ubo

the main point is scaling across multiple tabs.

They do different things
If u want anonymity use em

so i can just use ubo for

Third-party content such as ads and trackers often run in isolated subframes within a page. This limits potentially harmful interaction between content and such scripts. Chrome’s multiprocess architecture means they often also run on separate processes, providing further security and performance isolation, but also allows us to better quantify their overheads. In both worksets, we found a few third-party subframes present across all browser and ad-blocker combinations.
I have not much idea what you're talking about. But it sounds good.

Ultimatley spectre and meltdown make us all vulnerable to attack regardless of what we use.

So go ahead and buy that TELOS II.
only 4 grand!

found the retard

>if you want to be easily profiled by useless extensions, use them

lol

but its actually no joke tho

whatever

>it doesn't do that
No, it does not.
>unless when it does
Unless you go out of your way to enable it. It's not out of the box and never was.
>ungoogled chromium with ubo
Some people like their browser not being one version behind at best. It didn't even compile until recently on many distros.

oh sorry I didn't know we were talking about usecases with neglectable market share

Updated firefox plugins (for android)
Chameleon (spoofed user agent to look like win64 with firefox)
Cookie auto delete
Decentraleyes
Https everywhere
Noscript with disable javascript on default
Privacy badger
Ublock origin

Is this good now?

Privacy Badger is completely redundant with ublock origin. Cookie managers are good, but just reject third parties in the settings and isolate first party cookies in about:config

Which ones are actually necessary and which which ones are redundant ffs?

what about Kiwi?

idiot enjoy getting rooted

said nobody ever

>a public company with all of their information listed out there is installing rootkits onto everyones computer.
>not only are they doing it for free, they are paying people to install it.

look at him, look at him an laugh

Attached: 941.jpg (1060x988, 119K)

It's too modded

Disable all google services when ur not using them. Log out of google too in your account settings
Disable play protect, and install malwarebytes and kapersky anti virus
>trusting google in 2019

> Random user agent every new tab
> Every other metric the same
> Can't fake canvas size
> Logs into services
> Same IP
Congratulations, you've just been fingerprinted even more precisely.

>What makes it so fast, bros?
it's just a Chrome reskin

Congratulations you made it as easy as possible to track you around the web. Read tor blog why your way is the dumbest possible. The best browser to defend against tracking is either stock Tor with no add-ons or Firefox with e about config tweaks and no add-ons (which essentially turns Firefox into tor).

Anything else again makes you unique especially the shit like chameleons canvas blocker privacy possum (just enable resistFingerprinting and remove these addons) cookie auto delete (enable firstparty isolate which also stops stuff that no add-on can do and remove this add-on) https everywhere privacy badger ublock (remove all of them and enable.Firefox built in content blocker)

If you want even more privacy you let all trackers and ads load freely. I am dead serious read Tor and effs explanation and read yourself into entropy in the context of information theory. Though you need to have a non unique fingerprint for this and this is only achieved by removing all your placebo add-ons and enabling Firefox built in defenses

I dont use random user agent, i use a firefox windows 64 permanently on my android
>canvas size
Disabled javascript, no canvas info sent
>same ip
VPN

Newfag

Non ironically every single one of those add-ons does the opposite of giving privacy.

Think about it why does Google allow all or most of them without betting an eye but instantly pull out stuff like AdNauseam or refuse to implement tor patches like Firefox did?

Every single one of those add-ons makes it easier to track you now imagine all of them on one single install. It is like screaming "Hey Google here I am take.my data"'

See And

>I use a Windows user agent on Android
Websites can tell what OS you are using without JS, CSS or Html a.simple ping to the server is already enough. It is called tcp fingerprinting.

So again what you are doing is Saying to Google "here I am dude on this chinese porn site please follow me when I visit my banking site and my personal mail aswell".

The best and only defence possible is Tor or Firefox in Tor mode. Either deal with it and stop closing your eyes in the hope it goes away or just stay with Google Chrome.

Non ironically most people in this thread would be harder to track by using stock Chrome without any single add-on. Yes I am dead serious.

I will repeat myself. You clearly have no clue how privacy works. If you want a scientific explanation read into entropy in regards of information theory. Both eff and tor have good explanations.

If you want my short explanation: By doing all the shit you do you make yourself more and more unique. Imagine how many people worldwide have the exact same setup as you. I highly doubt among 7 billion people there is one human with same hardware and software setup as you (addons can fake data but a website can still.deduce a lot even without javascript).

If you want privacy you use Tor or Firefox with the mentioned toggles AND NO ADD-ONS. That's it. Either deal with it or stay with your placebo shut that is legitimately harmful.

Brave is botnet warosu.org/g/thread/S69748437

A very easy way to check whether you can be fingerprinted uniquely and as thus tracked is to try to solve Google captcha. If you cannot be tracked (i.e. have a non unique fingerprint) you won't ever in all eternity be able to solve captcha no matter how much you enter it correctly (and are even shown it to be correct).

As soon as you are able to solve captcha you can be tracked. It's as simple as that.

Just ignore Brave one guy confirmed months ago already that Brendan unironicalky pays his Indian workers to post on here.

Panopticlick.com says im 1 in 10000 with my current firefox, not unique
And with orfox default im 1 in 100000, and unique
I cant complete capchas. I had 50 attempts earlier

>i use a Firefox windows 64 permanently on my android
>disabled javascript, no canvas info sent

>What is tcp fingerprintjng
>What is browser fingerprinting

Either you are very funny bait or a pitiful pseudo intelligent human being.

Reminder to hide and report all shilling threads created by Brave devs. It's literally malware. It just replaces ads on the web with its own (((acceptable ads))), and steals the revenue

Amiunique and panopticlick says i have strong tracking protection
Kys

I will tell you for the last time since you just don't want to believe you gave away your entire sociodemographic profile to Google all the time (learn to cope and move n).
Just a heads up for people like you who do not have a single clue about privacy the only choice is to use Tor. Else you will eventually make a mistake that gives you away.

Read tor and effs explanation what entropy is how it works how it is calculated and stop trying to make yourself feel better. You gave google all the data literally voluntarily. Even if you are a fucjing brainlet you need to move fucjing on.

>panopticlick
Congratulations a website that checks 4 vectors out of legitimately 100000900000 and worse that compares those vectors to people that are as retarded as you. If you don't understand why this matters again read the entropy explanations.

>I can't complete captcha
That is how you post right? Fucjing idiot I am so sick of retards like you. Just accept you have no clue how privacy works and its fine. nobody knows everything g always. Though you trying to cope by sticking your head into sand just proofs you should be euthanized.

Now compare those websites to the general pool of web users. Also reminding ourselves off the fact that panopticlick only checks 0.001% of fingerprintable data (which they acknowledge) while iamunique fingerprints data they don't even show you (look at their js sources).

Also tell me please how many people worldwide run an android and tell they are Windows 64 with your hardware / software setup'and your ip ( regardless vpn or not). Do you really think there is a single human being on earth?

You idiots should.learn the mathematics behind how fingerprinting works or just shut up. Literally I am dying out if shame seeing people like you on Jow Forums

My orfox browser has unique fingerprint

How should a website know im running an android

>has a unique fingerprint
How did you check you have no clue how privacy or fingerprinting works? If you tell me "hurrr I went to panopticlick/amiunique/any other public fingerprinting test" I will just stop and ignore you and the other idiot. Seriously this can't be real how dumb people are.

I even gave you something to read how all this works and is calculated but rather you still fall into your old patterns. People like you deserve to be followed all the time since you are genuinely retarded.

>What is tcp fingerprinting
>What is screenwidth elementwidth toucschreen battery audio video plugin api
>What is screen rects

Seriously both of you either go read the maths behind it use Tor for all. browsing or just stop. This is not only embarrassing this is making me seriously close to going apeshit insane seeing idiots like you fuckers.

Not understanding the topic is one thing but being so heavily in denial is just insane.

Are you a troll or beyond retarded?
Did it never came to your monkey brain that some code executes differently under different hardware, os, software and as thus also produces different results?

They send that info with javascriot disable?

This will be my last post since you guys are so much in denial it is amazing.

If you disable Javascript you maybe stopped 900 out of 1500 fingerprinting vectors. The fact that you disable js is in and of itself fingerprintabke though (How many people worldwide have js disabled???).

Without js I can't tell what exact OS version you are using (i.e. win10 build 20191110 or Fedora Linux 30 or whatever) But I will still be able to easily see your device rough version ( the os is detectable as soon as you connect to the server I said it 19 times that is why it is called.tcp fingerprinting don't need any code executed).

So with js disabled instead of the above I get for example Linux Kernel 3.4 (i.e. Android). Add to that all the other vectors that don't need js and again I will identify you.

I will.leave this thread now since both if you are not only mentally retarded but also refuse to educate yourselves. If you would have actually shows a single sign of trying to understand this would have been entirely different. And I listed like 5 out of 1000000 vectors.

Either use Tor or stop caring. It isn't that hard really.

Thats cool i already use tor for everything, i only use firefox for Jow Forums and my bank since i have Jow Forums pass

can someone fork lighting and give it a proper adblock updater?

Privacy badger + ublock origin good for firefox?

>Tor on android
You're still extremely easy to identify

The Chrome + uBo stats being nearly exactly the same as Brave aren't helping you here

no

I thought Tor was only used to browse the dark web, can you even browse normal sites with it correctly and does it really make you untracable in the normal web? I am not sure about the later.
Anyway about your other point: shouldn't you use Chrome if you want to become less unique? It is after all the by far most used browser in the world and I am asking because out-of-the-box firefox isn't much better in terms of privacy and letting you getting tracked.
In that regard, what do you say about firefox+ublock as the only add-on? This seems like a rather common combination after all.
And lastly, would you say that one should generally the "standing less approach" for privacy reasons, for example by using google over ddg, or windows over linux, or stock android over lineage, unless you can fully hide yourself? I hope you understand what I trying to ask from this one.
>As soon as you are able to solve captcha you can be tracked. It's as simple as that.
I thought it was used to recognize if the user was human, what does it matter in the end if the user can be tracked or not?

Downside to chrome is that u have to log in to chrome and sync to install extensions which is retarded, and fuck google. Its closed source.

Im also running ublock origin as only blocker, not sure if i should add privacy badger on top. Halp

Anyway heres a list of settings u can change in about:config in firefox
restoreprivacy.com/firefox-privacy/
Give it a good read

Not after fingerprinting evasion

How?
