I will get a $200 Nokia phone and will get more often and longer updates, than this $2600 phone.

>Apple
*bends on accident*
>Samsung
Hold my sake, baegchi oegug-in.

How the fuck can a chinkphone cost more than the Samsung equivalent?
What world is this?

Samsung has a fold gap, notch and doesn't even take up the full screen when folded.

This thing has a crease though, and having the screens on the outside is going to end up with the screens being scratched to shit.
Also the specs are lower than the Samsung.

Why are they pushing the folding meme again?
If I want a larger screen I use a tablet. This is just a bastardized version of it.

It is all for the sake of being different. I personally think they are pointless also but idiots will buy them.

This is a tablet. Only now you can fit it in your pocket.

wouldn't worry, you wont be allowed to buy it

>Why are they pushing the folding meme again?

The smartphone market is saturated, more and more consumers are holding on to their smartphones for 3, 4, 5 years but the producers are pushing them yearly out only with minor improvements.

On top of that at the lower range (150-500 $) there's a knife fight among 2 dozen Chinese producers fighting each other to the death, this competition raises the quality of those previously shit tier phones so much it's becoming a threat to the three big producers (Apl, Sams, Hua).

The folding memee is "the new big thing".

>that back light bleed at the bend

CRT master race wins again

what shade of autism is this?

because there's no real innovation left to do in phones
(except feature removal...mSD slot, IR blaster, 3.5 jack, etc)
as a result, cheap brands are a serious threat to sammy's flagships
this is a desperate attempt to avoid commodification, like 3D TVs were an attempt to preserve high prices of flat screen TVs in the face of competition from low-margin brands

They both have creases, check out the gif in the other thread. No way around the fact that plastic creases when you fold it.

Having a very expensive item in your product lineup is good for marketing.
It makes your brand look good, and makes the rest of your products seem better value.

Think of these as technology showcases, and conversation pieces to make 4channel talk about Samsung v.s Huawei instead of about Apple vs. straight sex.

Based and kekpilled

>as a result, cheap brands are a serious threat to sammy's flagships
But Sammy is a big producer of cheap phones. They just don't advertise them.
Samsung is the only other profitable phone-maker apart from Apple. And most of that profit comes from cheap phones that they sell millions of. That's where they, and Android, gain their dominant market share.

it's about $2450 actually but still massively expensive.

because everyone wants hugeass screens and fablets but still want portability

>sammy
are you 90 years old or just a drooling retard, mr tranny

bragging rights phone poor plebs can pickup the $100 android knockoffs free after 5 year contract

I will get a $1 tin can and string and will get more often and longer updates, than your $200 Nokia phone.

>I will get a $200 Nokia phone and will get more often and longer updates
If by that you mean three years, then yeah, you've got a great deal.
