ytmnd died because it's admin (max) was a total hack who intentionally wanted it dead after good memes like Moon Man went viral.

he also failed to keep his promised updates for ytmnd.

I was one of the few weirdos that used ytmnd into the early 2010's long after it lost mainstream popularity, the idea of an gif and audio meme is really novel idea.

there needs to be a modern ytmnd clone where users can upload multiple gifs/muted video clips, position them onscreen using coordinates,add optional text captions and a seperate mp3 file for audio.

vine, tik tok, webms are not YTMND clones, they don't adhere to the creative principle that made ytmnd fun and unique, also the skill ceiling for a modern ytmnd clone would keep normies out.
