The main ideological goal of every citizen of Northern Europe should be to unite all Scandinavian peoples under one flag. A government, not based on individual prosperity, but unity through shared values, ideals & history.
The Kalmar Union was destined to fail from the beginning; its centrality and Danish monopoly on power was its greatest weakness.
If we are uniting we should be in control rather than Germana and Spaniards
Joseph Nelson
This honestly. What good is the power of maximum homosex, if you cant use it to its full extent. (by enslaving everyone else into a massive gay orgy of pain)
Here's your new flag, btw. Enjoy becoming what Germany was almost 100 years later. National Socialist had a strong presence in Norway and Sweden once, it can happen again
1. They want Independence from Dumbass England 2. More allies are always better
Jason Morris
Calm down you bunch of drunken nords.
Unity is - not - good for us. It is good for emperors so they can rule bigger lands but we are stronger in smaller groups. Let that sink in for a while and then think about how unified and standarized trading policies are enabling greedy people to succeed.
Finland is a part of Fennoscandia (the Scandinavian peninsula), not Scandinavia per se - I wouldn't mind you guys, though.
Caleb Fisher
Not necessarily.
Easton Kelly
no objections here. As long as we get fair representation and our language is not trampled on to seek greater unity or some garbage.
to get back the orkneys

Also, no deal if we're in the eu
Christian Jenkins
Our European Union membership is beneficial in more ways than one; the interconnectivity of European economies demands some structure of collective, yet individually-sensitive leadership.
Thus, the calamities and tribulations of Europe can become a shared burden. Furthermore, due to this system, we can negotiate and collectively construct a framework for the most vital of issues, e.g:
1) Foreign and domestic policy. 2) Multilateral cooperation. 3) Trade and wages. 4) Immigration policy. 5) Enviromental policy.
Need I continue?
Samuel Harris
I don't care about the rest of europe and staying in the eu would only drag us down and make us less of an entity, we'd be less of an actual country and more of a region in the eu. We can do all of that stuff without some bureaucrats in brussels dictating everything we have to do and what we can't do. Also i just don't like us being in a union with both france and >romania Besides, there's no assurance that the union will always be there, a collapse could be right around the corner and it would probably be better to be out before then.
Cameron Howard
>today part of Denmark, U.S, Ghana, Togo, Lithuania But this map doesn't highlight any of those nations.
Henry Moore
The most annoying thing about the EU is that laws that are relevant in one part of the EU get forced on all countries like some blanket. It's silly. Peoples and cultures are different, let's not pretend like they aren't-
Hunter Edwards
Sorry, but this seems like an argument a four year-old would make. Let us agree to disagree.
Alexander Rivera
I just don't think you value sovereignty as much as me. A union within a union is redundant, the EU's authority would supersede the nordic union thus making the whole thing pointless to begin with
Mason Perry
Britain & Northen Europe war incoming?
Liam Hernandez
>I just don't think you value sovereignty as much as me. I don't think that's a fair assessment, but you're probably not completely mistaken.
Levi Powell
Glad to see the thread still here Hail the Nordic Scandinavian Reich Cant wait to see who your Führer is.
