It's great, but LibreOffice can suck my dick

>Say something nice about it
>implying there is anything nice that could be said about an amazon botnet

It's got circles.

It's not Windows

Mark Shuttleworth touched me in my private parts

Where's the gnu?

It just werks

Still shitposting like it’s 2010

xubuntu is the best

It’s bloated Debian but it’s the best least autistic server option

It's a solid base for better-done forks.

Ubuntu have an easy to grasp release cycle so everyone can use it in a company. One of the best version numbering systems ever is a big part of it.
We use it at work and it is pretty good to share the same issues regarding libraries and stuff.

cute name & logo

It just works

you mean ucuntu with the faggot penguin?!

This, also it's free and shares a lot of keyboard shortcuts with win 10 which makes switching over to it very easy for people who previously used windows.

Works fine, largely reliable, isn't windows, good for newbies, and lightweight (if you use Xubuntu, which I *highly* recommend)

Been using almost exclusively Linux on my home hardware for the past 6ish years and I keep coming back to Ubuntu, even from Windows - it just fucking works.

Repetitive question, I know, but what exactly is wrong with Ubuntu compared to other OSs? What's something I can do with another OS that I can't do with Ubuntu?

Kubuntu is my home...

It tracks you.

Should get fixed.

People hate it because Canonical tries to reinvent the wheel way too often

Its a great example of how subpar the entirety of linux software is.

It isn't Mint

If you want it to, it is an opt-in feature during install

it just werks

So does every other is, but the other os'es actually work better.

when total retards who dont even know how to use fucking ubuntu go to the news to say schools should ban ubuntu
i bet they dont even know what the commands they use even do, if they do use the terminal

idk what it is but the penguin is cute

upstart would have been way better than systemd.

>i bet they dont even know what the commands they use even do, if they do use the terminal
Sounds more like the average Archfag.

It had the presence of mind to discontinue upstart and go with systemd. A sign of not suffering full NIH syndrome.

The software updater can fetch Nvidia drivers easily
AMD you gotta go to the website, download, extract, terminal then execute

this

>LibreOffice can suck my dick
+1

>It's a solid base for better-done forks.

Like what?

I think you mean Ubuntu, and I’m not sure if the penguin is a homosexual

(Dubs checked btw)

Despite what Jow Forums says it is a good OS for normies, who don't want to deal with Win or Mac

What kind of workplaces know there are other oses than windows?

Inb4 Mint aka Frankendebian
