Python or ruby?

I am in doubt whether i should self-study python or ruby.
Python is teached in my course but it will only be the basics, should i just study python enough to pass while focusing on ruby or is python better than ruby to get a job?
Oh, i am aiming to cloud jobs.

Python for sure, especially if by cloud you mean AWS. It gets used a lot there.
