Seriously, where did these things come from? One year I never see them and the next my professor's requiring them for his class.
A comfier pen there is none, but:
*smears all over your paper as you write*
*explodes in your apron*
*strips its threads for no reason*
>Heh...nothin personnel...kid...

That is kino but .05 is better.

What's that thing? I'm 21 and I've never seen one in my entire life

Pilot is Japanese.
Bic is French

Peak gel pen for sure. Zebra F-701 is bretty gud for ball point

Which do you prefer?

Pilot G1 and G3 are better than this, desu. They seem to flow better. Maybe because being capped pens they can have a wetter ink without drying out?

Attached: 2019-03-04 13.10.21.jpg (3264x1836, 1.01M)

I think you are outnumbered user. Its pretty widely accepted that g2 is the best.
Youll just have to learn that there are tradeoffs for everything

probably the G2 from a sheer utilitarian factor, they are ubiquitous. I keep one in the car and most bags. And I prefer gel to ball point. But I picked up F701 with the intention of modding it eventually, like those EDC nerds do (turn into a space pen)

the .5 version smeers a lot less, I also have a .38 which lasts forever.

I have autism and own pretty much every needle point gel pen.
Energel 0.3 is my favorite.

It says Pilot you twerp. Can you even read?

I had so many of these in primary school

>ballpoint
Disgusting

The Pilot G-2 and the Mitsubishi uniball eye are very comfy pens.

This. Only plebs use ballpoint. Real men suck the ink into their mouths and blow it through a thin tube onto the paper.

can't use this pen to do tests because it's not transparent, retard

shit tier for lefties and i dont like gel.
pic related a lot better in my opinion, definitely for lefties.

Did you know it's possible to fit a Mont Blanc cartridge inside those?

I love writing with flairs but goddam do they run with just a rise in the humidity.
Pilot G-2 needs to be demoted to below shit because it also runs like a nigger being chased by someone with a job application.

every needle point pilot I have ever used has had shit inkflow halfway through the cartridge, no matter where I buy them and how carefully I use them.
Turned away from Pilot all together for uni jetstream 0.5

those big sharpies aren't for writing, they're for making visible marks on shit

no thank you, i'll take the plastic pen with fake rubber grip pls

i don't write very much, but i've kept up with a black fine-point sharpie pen for about 6 months and i like using it
it probably bleeds through a regular notebook, so i can't call it the best, but i only use small legal pads and it works well.

Until you prove this is your pen thepencompany.com/product/caran-d-ache-astrograph-fountain-pen/, you're poor too

if you're spending more than one dollar on a pack of pens you're doing it wrong

I am playing with my V5 and Signo and I have to agree that the V5 is better. Both glide along paper equally well. The V5 feels longer with the cap on its back, and being thinner it feels more premium, elegant, and comfortable. The Signo is shorter and fatter, so it leaves a slightly cheaper and more childish impression to the user. Both smudge to nearly the same extent, except the Signo is more prone to ink pooling at the ends and beginnings of each written stroke. Of course at those points the ink will smear very easily unless you are careful to let it dry completely. I also believe the V5 gives the wielder finer control over line thickness depending on the pressure used, whereas the Signo seems a bit more unpredictable. Perhaps the V5's long needle point also adds to the feeling of having greater control. To me the Signo's only advantage is that it seems less prone to bleeding through paper, however if you use more premium paper having a weight of at least 24 lb then neither will bleed through.

The clicker is loud and the barrel is narrow, tapered and smooth, which makes it slippery for me. It could use some checkering or serrations on the grip. Parker ballpoint refills are about the only ballpoints I'll write with, but even then, there is room for improvement. I really don't understand why people like the Jotter as much as they seem to.

Superior alternative:
>amazon.com/dp/B01686R516/
>extremely smooth rollerball refill
>serrations on the grip
>silent clicker
>design makes it impossible to ink your pocket if you use the clip

I know and am related to a number of people who live in $1-2 million houses, and they would never own something like that. You don't get rich by spending $20,000 on impractical pens.

Sharpie is the 3rd leg of the ink nerd trinity along with Uniball Signo and Sailor Nano Carbon. They each have some mystical properties.

>that dick signature
There's no way that's real

Yes, but there's no reason to. The Pilot G2 cartridge is already as smooth as it gets.

Signo is very uncomfortable I'm my hands, it's too big. Its spotty after being left to sit for too long. But it does dry quickly, faster than the G2 or V5. G2 works well because it just let's the ink run like nothing, and doesnt last nearly as long because if it. I just dont like the V5, if you bear down the tip is fucked. My gf has been using fountain pens. They work really well for the same reasons the G2 is good. I find them more uncomfortable since they are larger. And the odd shaped tip is whatever. They also trail really bad.

I'll just stick with my G2s.

The only people who give a fuck about how fast ink dries are lefties. Prove me wrong.

i just want a pen that draws nice dark lines and doesn't blow through ink right away

why is this so hard to find

Oh boy how that takes me back. I remember I was in the 6th grade.. my friend had a a Pilot G-2 07; he gave my other friend one, and I ask em if I could have one as well. Dude says “sure I have a whole pack of em” *pulls out a glorious pack from his locker*
> OwO What’s this?.png
I used the shit outta that pen- the way that jet black ink quite literally flowed out of the tip was perfection. I asked my mom to buy me more. Kept using from that single pack all throughout middle and high school. Think I’ve still got the pack around here somewhere.
