This, memeing about Nvidia's 4=3.5 while boasting CPUs that screwed people with the core count. Either intentional irony or schizophrenia.

While I do think my 8350 is the strangest CPU design ever made, AMD was very clear about how a bulldozer module works even before the 8150 came out in 2011, but what nvidia did is say "yep a 970 is 4GB just like a 290X and the 980ti", and people were fooled into thinking they were getting the price to performance of the century but it was really 3.5GB and half a gig of slow ass memory, much like the GTX 660 2GB with the 1.5GB of actual ram and half a gig of slow ram.

I'd still be running my FX-8320, but I was given a ballin' i7 system and made a buid around that instead. So now my friend has my old rig.
ASRock motherboard which was alright, 16GB of memory, an HD7950. I put the FX-8320 under an H100i. It still runs great after probably 7 years of near-24/7 uptime.
