got piece of butcher block from home depot. i finished it with danish oil. went to ikea bought two alex drawers. slapped the butcher block on top and put a small piece of masonite to act as a backboard on the back of the drawers. ez pz

actually don‘t have that stuff over yet, mainly because i ordered a new keyboard+mousepad from glorious pc gamer race and they haven’t shipped yet, so I‘m only using my laptop atm

Noctua doesn't have pressure/air optimized 140s, they're dual purpose. The 140s are NF-P14s 1500rpm and the exhaust is S12A, airflow optimized 120.

The only fans that make any real noise are the front 140s (P14s). It's audible around 600rpm but only becomes really loud around 900rpm. To their credit, them against a radiator makes more noise because my CPU fan (also a P14 1500rpm) is silent up to 800rpm or so, only really loud around 1300.

FWIW, my fan curving is something like:

>Idle (CPU 35c)
Intakes = 550rpm
Exhaust = 500rpm
CPU = 600rpm

>100% Load (CPU approaching 60c)
Intakes = 750rpm
Exhaust = 700rpm
CPU = 800rpm

It's still fairly quiet but definitely audible. Any sound from speakers will drown it out, even just my furnace going.
