I didn't even know that midnight commander had an icon like that, but I'm glad windowsfags can enjoy it too nevertheless.

I disagree. There's nothing quite EXPLORER.EXE

xyplorer.

Vifm

Why do I need a file manager other than explorer?

I use total commander
Cuz explorer is shit

>explorer is shit
I mean, how so if it's enough?

mixplorer uses Android ... it's super effective

Does that thing have any chink spyware and/or bloatware built-in? I've been searching for a replacement for ESFM on Android for a while now.

>no
so it's not the power of windows

no it's very reliable I've done network monitoring and scans, no botnet at all , xda community swears by it, has built in servers if you want to turn them on, can connect to every cloud service, recognizes everything out of the box code editor text editor pdf viewing archiving it's by far the best I've ever used on any platform check it out yourself

What software is that?

Directory Opus an alternative file manager for Windows.

>paying money for a file manager
nigga

Thanks user, definitely gonna check it out

>made by an Australian
Instantly and irrevocably untrustworthy.

>paying money for quality software
there I fixed it for ya.

Total commander

I pirate almost all my software but Directory opus gets my money since it really is top tier software. (it's almost made by like 2 guys so I'm sure they need the money).

Bummer it's so niche since it easily eclipses all other file managers I've tried.

>Best file manager
Nothing else comes close.

I really wish there was an open source miller column manager for Windows. I only know of directory opus and one commander, but both are paid
>but you can get a gimped version for free
I don't want a gimped version.

Double Commander is god tier.

Go to bed Cathy.

That is bloat. Command line operations are easier than navigating that mess.

If explorer is fine, that means you don't use your computer to it's full potential

Really sad MS moved away from the whole windows inside windows design. It was unironically better than what they have now for anyone that isn't a drooling norman.

What about Linux version of total Commander?

>not using ranger
Uncomfy

I actually use ACDSee as a file manager more than WinFile (File Manager)
Bonus is thumbnails of images in lower-left corner.
And two-key commands to manipulate some image attributes.

I've been using it for ten years, one of the first things I install.

doublecmd.sourceforge.net/

Directory Opus easily beats any command-line manager on features by default, customization and extensions.

This

Make sure to use the original version and not the bloated W10 app version

people.ee.ethz.ch/~davidsch/vistafm/

> not using dolphin

totalcmd

Latest DOpus is cracked at nsane btw
