boing boing used to be a paper maker zine. it became a website and was pretty cool for a while, but over time it's been taken over by advertisements for programming courses and shilling for the sort of crap that gets advertised in the margins of slashdot. if they're blocking adblockers now, they've come about 180 degrees and are now the nazis the zine used to be fighting against.
