First you need a significant user base

Here is my 10 step guide to being a pro web dev in 2019.

1. Learn HTML
2. Learn CSS
3. Learn JavaScript
4. Learn how to navigate the Linux terminal
5. Learn about web servers (nginx, apache)
6. Pick up a server language (PHP, Node.js)
7. Learn about server hosting
8. Combine them together
9. ????
10. Profit!

more like IMAGINE board hehehehehehe

Pick a language with a popular web framework. Learn such framework. Go from there.

There is already a kpop imageboard if that's what you meant

No, ffs, pic unrelated and she's Japanese
(Like this) Like Jow Forums my bad
Hmm sounds like a plan. I'm not sure if only a web version will be enough. Is this source or 8ch a good example of how to do it?

Just get a server and your favorite software github.com/kennell/imageboards

>No, ffs, pic unrelated and she's Japanese
That's nancy she's half gook half burger

>I'm not sure if only a web version will be enough.
I... what?
>Is this source or 8ch a good example of how to do it?
It's just posting messages and displaying pictures you can figure it out yourself. There are challenges to running an imageboard but they only come at scale. If it's just you and 3 friends posting on it any basic CRUD app will do.

dont let it attract autist

>JavaScript
Bloat and unnecessary for an image board.

>still using this board that obviously using js
kek what a fucking hypocrite

is kusabax still a thing? user you could use vichan, but honestly dont bother itll get spammed with cp until you give up

there are already enough cancerboards

Install Gentoo and kill yourself

I use clover, and I'm not the owner of this shitty site. Read a dictionary since you don't know what "hypocrite" means.

This is just a static site.
When you add a comment to a thread, it rebuilds the page and presents it statically again.
That's all you need to know now go forth and build a static site

What is the best chan board library that isn't php based?

try vichan, it's really easy to get working. The code is very readable so you can modify it to make your site more unique.

>I want to create an image board (like this). Can you give me advice?
don't make it like this one

be moot
go back 16 years

just copy the same design as every other imageboard
it seems to work just fine

>Can you give me advice?
once you kill yourself pain will stop
