Can you remove the battery from the phone or is it a phone with a non-removeable battery ?
If you can replace the battery I would suggest you do, you could have weakened the barrier of a battery cell which could start leaking after a while.

well, you'll have no output without a GPU so yes but beyond that it depends, is watching videos on youtube being accelerated by your GPU? watching HD videos doesn't require a ton of processing power, a HD6850 is completely overkill and whatever you have already is probably fine, i briefly had a 8400 gs in my pc and it was playing 4K video

if videos are lagging the bottleneck is more likely to be the CPU

Would you be able to run an 8K monitor from a 1070 with multiple Displayport 1.4 cables ( I have 3 on my card) or HDMI 2.0a ?
I remember reading that you could bundle the bandwidth of Displayport cables together to provide higher bandwidth if needed.

How can I compute the sha1 hash of some text in bash? I've already tried sha1sum and it's wrong. See below what I mean:

Is NVENC inferior to CPU conversion when you give it no limit on the amount of bitrate it can use ?

That's essentially what I have but replace avast with AVG.
Also Common Sense 2019 works very well from my experience.

I've found Waifu2x to be pretty good for what I've used it.
Best way is to try it and see if the quality is better when upscaled, you might need to tweak the settings to reduce the noise though.

Just got an update for Windows 10 and my god is my computer slow as fuck now.
I type faster then the characters register on the screen, firefox takes +40 seconds to load and all websites, even very small ones, takes forever to load. Its a laptop with backlit keys and every setting except off or max brightness makes the keys blink.
I'm on kb4489868 and the laptop is a Asus chinkbook ux403un.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar? And trust me, I would leave windows behind if it wasnt "needed" for my uni classes.
