hmm too bad it can't run anything useful

>Benchmarks don't matter!

okay cool. would much appreciate to have such a powerful card

>As /u/bctoy pointed out, the result is Crossfire Radeon VII due to an error on 3Dmark.

Real talk: Why do synthetic GPU benchmarks NEVER reflect real world performance?

Attached: DiRT.png (1328x1225, 61K)

because there is no such thing as a benchmark that can cover every single use case

Is this proof that AMD can get game performance increased in a significant way trough game updates and drivers?

Mostly single digit gains. What a lot of people don't mention is AMD GPUs suck at AA. The ROPs on them are so abhorrent they tank performance by up to 50% without AA in some titles. Based on that vega 7 is faster than the RTX 2080 and vega 64 faster than the RTX 2070 but without AA in most titles. Whether AA is even needed at 1440p at all is another debate tho.

not poor if you afford 2xRadeon VII's

go back

Why she wears a t shirt with word "GAY" on it?

Post process AA works jsut fine with a low performance hit - just how Nvidia's architectures behave. MSAA is what kills GCN for everything post hawaii (hawaii was pretty good at it due to ROP/CU balance) but in this day and age MSAA is a depreciated technology. Loads of engines flat out do not support it and those that do the nature of MSAA means it doesn't catch everything on screen anyway.

real talk: why do amd fanboys always have to use the most cherrypicked "real world" benchmark available?

Ask why 9 in 10 cinrbrnch analysts and 7zip consultants prefer zen

can't AMD force MCAA on their own like Nvidia allows 8x FXAA on driver level?

Not that I can see.

thats too bad.
any more news about Navi tho? only the 1 leak vs a RX 580? would love to read more about it

This, it fucking wins in a single game and gets anally raped in everything else, such a victory kek

imagine if they stopped making dirt games. amdrones would lose their minds.

>AMD GPU
>Intel processor
what did AMD mean by this?

this
i'm not going to switch until they have fucking cuda on radeon

Yes. Radeon VII is THE GPU to buy if you just want to play Dirt 4.

that noise though

kek, amdrones never fail to amaze me

Dirt 4 is a pile of shit, no reasonable person would ever choose to play it when Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0 exist.

>whether aa is even needed at 1440p at all is another debate tho.
1440p is almost the perfect resolution in resolving aliasing within games. True there will always be some aliasing as well as specific aliasing in say 'staircase rails', however, for the most part its good. Its even better in comparison to 1080p or other resolutions, though it would also depend on the display's PPI
