Using system wide volume change is stupid if I only want to change the volume on a certain video. And using the mixer is annoying.

That doesn't make sense because the only way MPC-HC rivals mpv configured for high quality is with all kinds of 3rd party addons. Default install with default settings results in the same quality though.
