I tested a few free clips from pornhub.
Out of like 20 vids maybe 2 or 3 were "good".

There are a lot of things in videos that pretty much ruin it for me.
For example In one clip you start out standing up while the girl talks to you, and suddenly you are sitting on the couch.
Also some of the girls tend to come too close to the camera, which is super weird because it looks like you are clipping through her.

I tested a few 360° videos too, but I feel like they are absolutely pointless.
Since you would need to be standing to turn around and see everything, even though in the few clips I tested the action is basically just in front of you. But maybe there is a scene where you are I. The middle of a higher orgy or something, where you can see action all around you.

Acer OJO 500 (AH501) has started selling locally, the kicker is that it's $470 USD, Has a higher resolution than the HTC Vive though.

Regular HTC Vive is $550 USD here and the HTC Vive Pro is $1110 USD, Occulus does not sell to my country.
I've tried my friend's HTC Vive, it was pretty good, but the setup and take down process is a pain.

It's fucking amazing but the VR pornos are pretty poorly acted.

It's pretty good but the video absolutely needs to be at least 4K, high bit rate, and 180 degrees instead of 360. And even then they can still mess it up. For example sometimes the scale is off or the cameras will be in an awkward position etc.

I got along fine with the free videos on pornhub and a samsung vr headset I picked up for free. It was a fun time, but it isn't something I would ever use more than a couple times.

It's awesome, and at this point there is fairly large amount of content. The quality is also a lot better than what it used to be, both in terms of video quality and scale/perspective/proportions/etc. The early attempts were plagued with a lot little issues, but the serious companies have figured it out by now.

You really should have a recent GPU that can handle h265 hardware decoding and a connection that can download 5-10GB video files in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend whirligig as a video player so you use a mouse and keyboard.

Beyond that, VR mostly shines in simulators, racing and dogfight, spaceflight, etc. There are also VR shooter games, some of them are of realistic tactical variety.

Is there any way to get VR headsets to work on win7? I've been thinking of picking up some cheap "mixed" reality headset but i didn't find any good news. I've been burnt twice by win10's antics so an "upgrade" is not on my list of options anymore

Two years ago I've tried on the Vive (that's supposed to be the best) at a presentation once and I was highly disappointed, as I thought all the good reviews are Stockholm-tier deluded buyers who don't want to admit they spent a thousand bucks on a shitty LCD screen. I'll just keep stashing up waiting for good BCI, it's not too far, give it 5 years max.

Making 360 3D video is extremely difficult requiring a very complex camera with loads of lenses and special software to combine all the footage.

Not really about porn but I have found VR of today lacking from IMAX 3D from the past. Something about polarized light gives way more depth.

SDE is still a thing with most headsets (haven't tested Pimax shit) and while that isn't really noticeable in games it really fucking stands out in videos. It's like looking at 360p videos.
Content is also a problem since most producers of VR porn are incompetent. The scaling is off (meaning the people look like gnomes or giants), actresses are way too close to your face which strains your eyes and for some reason the Japanese ones always manage to tilt the world in strange and different angles so you have to adjust settings for every single video.
Also you will need invites to private trackers if you want vr porn without paying, just saying.
