What's stopping microLED from having "burn-in"?
Regular LEDs degrade over time as well.

False.

Trash indeed they are. Note 8 already has burn in.

My fault for buying a flagship I'm supposed to throw away the year after to buy the next one.

Chink phone next time.

False.

Hello, banggood.com Sales Representative!

I used s8 and now S10 and neither has or had burn in.
Used the s8 for 2 years daily so

Had an s8+ for over a year without any issues.

user I would have bought a phone with mLED if it existed. Pretty sure the only mLED device even out today is that huge Samsung TV

imagine porn burnt into the screen

someone post the free tv image

My S5 doesn't have a burn in.

>Daily reminder
Where's your yesterday post, or are you just starting these threads?

Owner of a 5 years of Galaxy S4 here.
When am I supposed to see the burnins? Still no sign of any here. Do they appear at the 10 years mark? 15 years? 30 years?

imagine blacked porn burnt into the screen

I know for a fact all these idiots complaining about burn in are letting their phones on maximum brightness at all times. I have an s5 from early 2015 with no burn in, and an s8 since March last year that's also perfect.
Just don't use max brightness at all times and don't sit on a still image for 8 hours straight. Is it that hard?

Daily reminder that Samshit are beginning production of TV-sized OLED screens this year, confirming that MicroLED is years off, if not vapourware.

I have a Note8 and i've had it since a week before it released.

No burn in whatsoever here.

Stop using your phone as a GPS for 10 hours a day.

Or maybe realize that not everyone is using their phone in the same scenarios as you, which is the dark basement of your mom's house. If you're outside, and the sun is shining your phone automatically adjusts the brightness to around max.

Hey genius, Samsung is as Chinese as everyone else is. Their SSDs for example are manufactured right in Shenzhen.

yes and it only burns in static UI elements, meaning the morons are using it outside at auto brightness with the SAME shit open in the same place, generally it happens to morons using it for a GPS as delivery drivers, or similar driving professions.

To add to this: the quality of OLED displays differ a lot, even within the same product line. It's a hit or miss, just like battery performance and CPU performance, sometimes you get a dud that is below spec and it's really shitty when that happens to you since you spent thousands of dollars.

>What's stopping microLED from having "burn-in"?
not much
retard.
>if not vapourware
pretty much vapourware for the moment, outside of samsung labs. will be a fucking long time before we see it used in anything. but the garbage industry sites are already starting to write misinformation about AMOLED/OLED to shill for samsung's unproven tech.

These are DPI indicators on my mouse. I usually use 1st or 2nd step. Notice how the first two LEDs are dimmer and have a slightly different hue than the last one?
It's way more noticeable irl

False.

This is the reason why the OnePlus 5 is still the best phone yet.

No on screen navigation bar no burn in.

How often do people actually spend time outside using their phone under direct sunlight? If you're outside you shouldn't be on your phone anyway

Oled is shit because of pwm
Fucking flickering hurts my eyes

B-buys Apple. They are packaged in US.

My S8 doesn't have an on-screen navigation bar. It was auto-hidden before and now doesn't exist thanks to the new gestures in Pie. Still no burn-in anywhere on the screen either, despite the fact that I watch a lot of stuff on it in bed at night.

I literally have never seen a phone with burn in, other than display units of course.

Never, burn ins only occurs on unrealistic scenarios like sitting on max brightness on a static pic for hours.

This.
only a fucking idiot would make/buy a device that has semi-permanant banners that will burn in on a device that functions part time as a media player
>hurr I dont use my phone for media
then why are you buying big screen high definition phones?

Probably since I can't seem to find a trap irl to dick you down?
