it's one of the most used searx instances and they recommend you use others, or you can just host your own
give it a few hours and it'll be fine

>tfw no new release for ages

>using searx.me when there's at least 3 better instances of searx

I use searx.laquadrature.net/, what are the others?

This always happens, the good thing is you have like 20 different instances you can use.

You're late, darling.

it's never too late to call OP a faggot

>she doesn't have her own instance shared with a couple of friends to prevent jewgle from identifying any one of you

At which point you could just use Google directly.

searx.neocities.org

worst search engine ever

searx.xyz/

Thanks!

Problem loading page.

What is it?

A search engine. Not the best, but it doesn't track you and such.

that's why we tell you to NOT use or advertise .me retards

How is searx different from Google?

they don't track you

Do you they good results like Google? Might just make it my default

Just wait until searx / the individual searx instances update.

Or run your own instance, it's easy:
# mkdir searx
# save to docker-compose.yml:
version: '3' # should work even with 3.7
services:
searx:
container_name: searx
image: wonderfall/searx:latest
restart: always
ports:
- 8890:8888
# docker-compose start in same folder

Searx essentially aggregates results from multiple search engines. Most of these instances do not run their own search index.

Google itself may or may not be enabled/configured on the instance you're using

Do you not know how t.-ing works? You just signed your comment as a pedophile you retard.

>run public instance
>more than 50% of all requests are pic related
What's the point?

Seems reasonable to me? What's the problem here?

It's all from bots. I'm blocking it for over a year and they still continue to send this shit.

That is how it works you faggot
It only signs what's above which is a quote
t. Not a faggot

I don't immediately see why you concluded these are bot requests. And I don't even see why bots would do this - searx won't rerank the results, will it?

If you return "fuck you faggots" for every search and it doesn't stop then they are most likely not humans.

>And I don't even see why bots would do this
That was my question.

>If you return "fuck you faggots" for every search and it doesn't stop then they are most likely not humans.
Good point. Not that I saw that in the image.

> That was my question.
Well, if they're doing it regardless I guess they hope to affect search rankings or generate referral traffic or something anyhow somehow.

I wished politics would b& all marketing bullshit, it's making the whole world worse.

There's a massive list on the fucking github

what is the point of running your own? Your ip is leaked to google and so forth. Are you people actually retarded, or is searx actually magic?

>Your ip is leaked to google and so forth
In theory, you're not the only one using your instance so the information google etc receives is useless (or even counterproductive) to actually attempt to profile you beyond "this person is running a searx instance"

If you're hosting an instance and then you're the only one using it though, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's pointless from a privacy perspective.
