The problem here is that they're basically charging market price for the RAM. You get no discount for the default RAM option, but they also made it difficult to replace the RAM yourself.
It's small shit like this that makes Apple a bad company but normies don't notice or realize they're getting shafted. Each little thing is a small shafting but it adds up.
