The whole Stadia debacle has ignited a very vivid discussion in /v/ about ISPs and connection quality from different countries
Would you mind sharing what is the current situation in your country/place, in terms of prices and speeds? Data caps for home connection?! Some even talk about not having fiber access available
Wtf

£34pm
Tv Broadband Phone
Virgin Media
350mbps down, 30mbps up.

I pay $80 monthly for 1Gb/50Mb in USA.

This is the cheapest available, because the company is a newcomer so their offering is very aggressive
In a well established ISP is about 45-50, but includes a mobile line too
No data caps on fiber at all

I have a 100mb connection for R$120,00. There's a 500mb connection that costs no more than R$250,00, I'm sure. 1 dollar = 3.8 reais

Jazztel, mañana los llamo pq veo que deberian haberme subido a 500. Jews

Eso es. En Yoigo están igual. Solo te suben si llamas. Salud

Si llamas y llora. Pero hombre no llora.

Gigabit down, not sure up speed for about $100 a month. A little extra removes the cap.

Its called a search engine. You type questions or key words into a text box then submit to receive many results that may help answer your questions. Most browsers have this functionality built into the address bar.
They are very useful, you should try one.

how u get that for 34 quid?

$15 USD/mo
30 down, ~1 up
I live in a poor area so there's a discount for some reason, had no idea that was even a thing until I moved to this shithole
Normally it would be $45+ for the same. No idea why my upstream is so terrible though. Maybe the nigs are slowly stealing copper.

79.99 a month for DSL 5 down .5 up bundled with phone that doesn't dial out to anywhere I need to.

30mbp down 20 up
R$60 and no caps
16usd/14eur on current exchange rate

It's called a discussion
People share opinions and experiences to get a better grip of a topic. It's quite neat

Is that Frontier?

this, I have 200 down and didn't add anything besides internet and I pay more.

Peru
120/12 HFC
Around $80 no caps
Fiber is annoyingly like 4 blocks away and would be cheaper for symmetric 200.

pls send help :( the most frustrating part is that i know that higher bandwiths are possible, but the network admins can't be assed to configure their load balancer to dynamic mode
