I would rather install Google Chrome before ever installing this furshit

>tfw Chrome user
What is your preferred browser, user-san?

But I have already installed Mypal, which is Palemoon fork with Windows XP support on my Windows XP machine

Firefox with modified ghacks user.js

Try harder :-)

Why would I use this over modded Firefox?

Time flies when you're NEET, that's my excuse.

Might as well use Waterfox. It's still a fork of Firefox that will die in the future, but at least its codebase isn't that outdated and the dev isn't a sperg.

basilisk is superior.

Doesn't the fact that Pale Moon is missing so many newer features also remove potential security holes? I don't really notice a difference in my browsing aside from the browser sucking up much less memory than the popular alternatives, so I don't see the downside here.
Also the Pale Moon dev dropped an engineering job to become a freelance translator, and now lives off of donations. He seems passionate about browser development, I can picture him doing it until the day he dies. He's in his 50s so he should have another 20 years at least.

Based old UI, comfiest shit ever.

Don't worry, he'll pass the baton to the lord Matt A. Tobin AKA New Tobin Paradigm

>furshit
Pale Moon is for furries? owo

Look at how fat that mofo is. He's gonna die before Moonchild unless Moonchild gets colon cancer from all the yiffing.

Isn't it maintained by a furry?

Yes. But he seems self-restrained and has just the right amount of autism.

Furries are literally my only exception to
>separate the product from the producer
They're the only ones I won't trust to make rational decisions long term.

This joke has gone on for too long, rest in piss nigger.

>if I deny the truth maybe things will change
>if I self censor it will globally censor
You are multiple layers of confused. These things can be easily vetted by yourself if you don't believe them or others.

Fun fact: if your first launch of palemoon is with --private-window added as an option, it doesn't connect to the start.me address with all the horseshit. I always open a private window anyway before I get ublock and umatrix installed just so that the cookies and storage for the bit leading up to that is discarded, so it kills two birds with one stone.

I don't get it.

The browser that blocked addons like adnauseam? I don't use that addon, but if I wanted to it shouldn't be up to the furry developer if I can use it or not. Besides, I bet you're way more uniquely fingerprintable to trackers using this niche browser than something like stock firefox and optionally a adblocker.

>it shouldn't be up to the furry developer if I can use it or not
Unless it's too complicated for you to switch a setting in the options menu then you can totally break loose from the developer's evil, draconian, dictatorial ways.
Why do Jow Forumstards make such a big fuss out of this lol.

Btw Moonchild just recently commented on the article.

It went as well as one might expect (pic related).

It's fucking obvious
Moonchild,Tobin, or some of their Cronies lurking in Jow Forums

Explain how anyone can compete with pic related?

With video pop out like in Opera it would be #1, but since it will never get that feature then into the trash it goes.

That's stupid.

You're free to trust them if you want, but you haven't convinced me otherwise.

>Palemoon fork
what a world we live in.

iktfb

sounds like your typical open source bullshit though, just like any linux distro, where the OS is a fork of a fork of a fork of an OS

>that will die in the future
>still alive after 8 years
let me guess, you're also one of those fags who say this is the year of linux

The point is that all forks will die once Mozilla gives up on Firefox.

saying "will die in the future" is irrelevant as fuck, by that logic literally everything will die in the future, because nothing last forever, not even empires.

So is Moonchild our furry Jow Forums?

Attached: 1546556595.jpg (1000x1000, 157K)

Yes, but given FF's steadily declining market share, "will die at some point in the future" changed to "will die in the near future".

you don't see microsoft dying near future because linux has gotten more market share over the years, or iOS dying near future because android surpassed them, or steam dying near future because epic store bought some of the devs. as long as it prints them money, they'll continue to support it.
