OpenSUSE + KDE Plasma

Arch + GNOME (with no extensions and a fuckton of custom keyboard shortcuts)

stable repos are total garbage

why

Based.
Void and Xfce is also a cozy combo in my opinion.

old and outdated applications. Testing is perfectly fine for most stuff

Fedora + KDE
Fedora + XFCE

It just werks

> Testing is perfectly fine for most stuff
Stable is fine for the most stuff, too.

openbsd + lumina

debian + gnome

extensions are the comfiest part

solus + budgie

Mint + cinnamon

Windows 10 + the FINEST desktop system known to man: EXPLORER.EXE

Antergos+dwm

Coffee + cocaine

Except for development. Programmers basically NEED cutting edge software.

>openbox
hell yeah, pipe menus are great

>muh bleeding edge

!(Thinkpad nipple + anything to do with design work)

Number pads + Any data entry

Fedora + GNOME

When is the new release of XFCE coming?

Basted and reptiled

this year I guess. Their git indicated active development almost everywhere.

Anything not overly bloated + a minimal gnome install is overwhelming comfy

Crux + dwm

> Programmers basically NEED cutting edge software
And they they churn out the newest release which requires cutting edge dependencies and my best bet is non-LTS Ubuntu or backports or third-party repos
It's OK to try new features, but how about actually considering OSes on which your product is going to be used? Protip: Debian Stable is the optimistic scenario, maybe it will be deployed on CentOS 6 or 7 (release years are 2011 and 2014).

This, but unironically. Archlabs is very comfy stock.

CRUX + Ratpoison

>security holes
>unstable

everything but comfy

runit+musl

Did Firefox officially integrate tabs into the title bar on gnome?

Ubuntu + MATE

>ubuntu
>comfy at all

nope, I would prefer to use Windows 7 or even 10

Good hoice OP, the only acceptable DE are xfce and lxde, the rest are made by gnu tranny public license and gnu lesser tranny public license

*unstable

solus + budgie

alpine + dwm

Yes. It's been available for a while, but is enabled by default as of version 66.

Ubuntu 18.04 w/ i3.

Ubuntu + gnome

no, that would involve gnome de integration (eg epiphany aka gnome web) forefox doesnt want to saddle itself with.
it just does client side decorations (the minmaxclose buttons), like some shitty windows app.
but by eschewig the native window borders, the window is no longer freely resizable

Void + DWM

Please explain what you don't like about Ubuntu.

Arch + i3

no real goal, they're just nice and 'easy' to use

I prefer to go with fedora for innovation, or debian for stability and reliability, or even Arch/Antergos to try the latest of something.

I sincerely don't see any reason whatsoever to use Ubuntu, even for out of the box experience I find Linux Mint better, they have a Debian version tho. I find that quite underrated. LMDE I think it's still called.

this

you may want to use xfwm413 right now

Clear Linux + Gnome Classic
Qubes OS + XFCE

Attached: 1550864708260.png (800x750, 106K)

this is my go to when i dont want to run meme distros. very stable and just werks

frankendeb (kali & testing) + xfce

I use Ubuntu MATE 18.04 and I like it because it seems stable and easy to use.
I don't think you gave any reasons why Ubuntu is bad.
I don't understand why anyone uses Linux Mint instead of Ubuntu.

Because it's basically Ubuntu Cinnamon. I like Cinnamon, and I like the work the Mint team is doing that's why I use it at least. Ubuntu MATE is literally my second favorite though.

thanks for redpill. just started downloading debian with xfce. currently using ubuntu.

Based
Xfce and debian = very stable OS

correct, linux mint is even more nonpurpose and insecure than Ubuntu. He's just making mental gymnastics because he follows reddit memes
