You can get an nzxt h500 for under 50 sometimes

You should really get a Fractal Design case, doesn't cost a bunch more and reall worth it

corsair 200r

that case isn't good sorry

damn an opinion

no I'm jut rejecting your reccomendation

what case is it on the picture?

disgusting and massive, im going to hurl

while definitely an opinion, the only thing it has going for it is a fairly flat design and a full side window for its price
otherwise its the same tier of build quality and featureless shit that rosewill puts out at the 20-30$ price point
in fact in some ways it has worse build quality than something like the FBM 01, which is the most bare bones of all bare bones matx cases, but at least the frame is pretty solid. The Q300L is flimsy in every single way and feels like breathing on it will break it

got picrelated for $49
good case

Rosewill challenger is the shit for being $50, 3.5 inch bays in the front of the case as well as 5.25 bays and 5 hard drive bays with an SSD adapter.

what case is that user

Only for air cooling, radiators can't breath against the panels because there isn't enough airflow.

nzxt cases have no airflow

The NZXT H500 has surprisingly okay airflow actually, even though it doesn't look like it would. Not the best by any means, but not too bad.

Wrong my case has supurb airflow

It does not, NZXT cases would be perfect with a mesh front

Getting this for my NAS build, thanks user

what form factor can I put in there?

Cases don't go obsolete. I'd recommend as a rule to spend a bit more on components that aren't going to need replacements in a few years.

They definitely can. Some new mobos, in particular asus now used a fixed io plate which isn't compatible with cases that don't account for it. Not a problem for now since you can just not buy an asus mobo, but if all/majority of board partners switch to this io plate then old cases would become obsolete.

It's got enough air flow that under maximum CPU load my Ryzen 7 2700 was still running under 40C.

>Cases don't go obsolete

usb-c ports
usb 3.1 gen2 and 3.2 ports
lots of 2.5" or 3.5" bays when nvme ssds are vastly superior
crossfire/sli meme dying out

You could probably get a good corsair carbide atx case off amazon or Newegg when there's a deal, I have one myself and it looks nice but the on button is on the wrong side. Still there a nice set to look out for

I'm all for this one today.

>PNY
I'm sorry, user.

Ayyy, that's my case!
Just don't get a GPU that's super long or you'll have to cut away some/all of the floppy mount.

Enjoy your vacuum cleaner.

Rosewill line-m, $40 on amazon, small conservative case. Watchout, you'll bend it if you look at it too hard.

Not him but I've had that same $50 SSD for close to 4 years now for my os in my $3k system.

>5.25 bays
trash

atto ITX

seriously, every time I bought a cheap case I regretted it deeply, buy something that will last you a decade regardless of the price

Having the PSU suspended above the cpu is not that great. Forces water block
Also the front fan is pretty bad and needs replacement for decent cooling
