I've been using these memephones for the last 5 years and I think it's time for some new ones. What's the next logical step after the ATH-M50x?
I've been using these memephones for the last 5 years and I think it's time for some new ones...
A new pair after they break.
If you're using them mostly at home Id go with some Sennheiser open back designs. As somebody whos owned/used their products from the $80-250 price range I'd say get the one that fits your budget. There really isn't a big difference between the
Sennheiser HD 555, HD 579 , HD 598 etc. Basically among whatevers current in their lineup. If you like the looks/price of on just get it and dont worry about the one that costs $50-100 more. It only sounds a little different, not noticeably better.
Beyer-Dynamic DT770

I've been using the same for just as long and it has only been time for new ear-pads.
>Sound like shit unless you have an amp.
>Sound like shit on my phone.
Just get another pair of ATx-50s and add some nice lambskin earpads user.
but m50x sounds like shit no matter what you plug it in
>not having an amp
I wear my Mx50s every day because they're lighter and more comfortable than muh meme cans.
>Carrying around an external amp like a retard.

Sennheiser HD 569's
another pair of M50X.
Nah I mean they are unnecessarily big for normal use, I would get some sony or msr something audio technica.
>big-breasts bitch
God, can you please say that again...
I've had this same pair for around the same amount of time, only complaint is that they are kinda big. Any comparable smaller form factor over the ear headphones?
