kobayashi looks miserable all the time so definitely that one
new game is literally a high school cute girl anime in a different setting

also nobody is gonna hire a sheltered loser who learned to program past the age of 20

thanks for your words of courage
i will probably not go for programming job then if it is like maid dragon

please dont tell me you're getting your view of the world from a japanese cartoon about a programmer with a magical dragon servant who is obsessed with her?

Its kinda boring.

I work for the biggest real estate company in my country and we've got services out the arse.

It's 90% C#. AMA.

no if i took it literally i would expect a big boobed lesbian dragon to be knocking on my door one morning head over heels in love with me
im just taking the programming part with a grain of salt
why would real estate need programmers

-----
everyone above this line were trolled. I'm gay if it matters BTW

Just started (4months), They give me easy bugs to fix and I just try to not fuck shit up. Its java and I am total brainlet when I started, but slowly picking it up. Overall it is comfy compared to supermarket or construction where I worked before.
Also when people ask whats your profession it feels good to say that you are programmer not working at McDonalds (even tho pay isn't that much different for me atm).

Because the real estate business is 60% IT, 20% brokers (the people in the stores) and 20% administration / bureaucracy.

at least you have enough self esteem to be sachiko-posting
good for you
huh thats unexpected

How long before "programmer" jobs are obsolete and employers want you to know how to program as a basic skill on top of industry-specific experience?

Also hikkikomori here.
I don't know what to do with my life.

Seeing how 90% of my IT class at Uni struggled with basic shit like loops, probably never.

It's almost already is. Universities are teaching programming courses regardless your major. Even business undergrads are being taught how to program. Now every kid and their mum are putting "programming" under their skills section on their CV.

Most real estate (or all) in my country (I wont say which because it will identify me) is franchised,so the real estate company don't do any actual real estate selling / buying etc but offer services.

These services include leads, marketing, backend systems etc etc.

When you see the real estate shops in the street (like Real Estate Company - Name), it means that the "Name" (the person who runs the shop) bought into the Real Estate Company Franchise.
Its probably first semester. In the first semester, people struggle with the different mentality, not with the basic shit - but principles.
And some people just aren't made out to be programmers.
Never. Programmers are far too specialised. Universities teaching students to program outside of their degree is wasting everybodys time. Teach them computer engineering instead.

At the same time it's already happening and it will not happen. Some jobs already require programming as a secondary skill, though most of these are already in the tech industry. But programming is difficult enough that the moment when you can realistically require most people in the job market to learn it when most people are out of jobs.

why do g*rls do this

because men are obsolete

you can say, most people are not made out to be programmers.

And in this sample of people who are able to code, we can say that 80% of them have crippling mental ilnesses or severe lack of good diction/social skills.

>And in this sample of people who are able to code, we can say that 80% of them have crippling mental ilnesses or severe lack of good diction/social skills.
Irrelevant.
>code
back to pleddit.

The "sheltered loser" who can actually function in a social setting is worth more than the autist who can barely speak to people irl, regardless of the age they learned to program or any other technical skill.

wat?
I mean, I am too, but what does that have to do with anything?

I am a girl in high school who work as a dev in Japan. Our company has many high school girl and some smart middle school girl who work part time job.

In the evening I arrive in office and drink tea with my friends. Normal talk subjects are candy, friends, homework and pointers. We spend much time coding and sometimes on friday we have sleepover at work. It is very fun

i shipped them since the first episode

Fucking shit
especially during merging branches. theres always that stupid nigger codes

post feet

It's fine unless your company works with outsourced devs who commit SHIT code. Then you're just annoyed a frustrated all day while you fix their broken or low-quality code

I doubt this

You, uhh, want some help, bud?

>cant remain a neet anymore
Yes you can. You just need to go viral with the post-scarcity. MAKE the world accept that not everyone has to work.

god i wish that were me

it fucking sucks since everybody knows how to program nowadays.
You are basically the guy that does things no body cares to learn about like front end shit.

There is no future, but thats fine since wagecucking is the absolute state of a guy with no life purpose.
If you have a dream work towards it, im not saying dont go get a job since programming is still better than half the shit people do, im jsut saying there are bigger things in life, and working for someone else is betraying your one self.
